Welcome to Themeforest fellow Steel Citier ;)

Good to be here!

Great designs! I love them!

Thanks for your comments, much appreciated.

This may be a very dumb question, but how do I actually customize these email templates? Is this some kind of web app that lets me customize the email and then it exports the HTML ? Or is it HTML that I plug into my email marketing site’s WYSIWYG editor and then I make the customization there? I’m really pretty good with all other kinds of templates, but I’ve never purchased an email template before. Thanks for your help!

Hi there,

To edit the HTML files you will need, at the very least, a text editor that can handle HTML code. If you’re using a PC try this: http://notepad-plus-plus.org/

If you’re on a Mac then you could try Coda, or Dreamweaver if you want to pay for a premium product.

There are MailChimp templates included which you can upload to MailChimp and edit them within the MailChimp system without the need for any coding knowledge.

If you need any further help you can email me: info@designsheffield.co.uk

Hope this helps.

hello, I would like to know how is inserted into Outlook. The downloadable file is not Instruction PDF . Thank you very much.

Hi there,

Firsty, thank you for purchasing the theme.

The link below describes how you can insert an HTML file into Outlook.

Thanks again. Thanks

I’m wary of buying a template because I know there are rendering issues when email templates use CSS . However your description says it’s “bulletproof html” and you tested it with litmus. Does the file use background images that would be blocked by email clients? what about fonts – are there any unusual fonts that i would need to change?

Hi Irutley,

Unlike some other email templates on ThemeForest, Simple News Pro purposely does not have any backgrounds images – for the exact reason you point out. Several popular email clients block background images, therefore your email wouldn’t look exactly how it was designed.

The font used is Helvetica; that falls back to Arial which is a similar web-safe font. No non-web standard fonts are used in the design other than the Simple News Pro logo which is an image – this would be changed once used anyway.

Hope this helps,

Thanks. I bought it. Great job – you know your stuff. Email rendering is a tricky thing, but you seem to really nail it. Thanks for the fast reply.

Great stuff, hope it works well for you.

Let me know how you get on.

Hi! I have a problem, does not work on mail service like inbox.lv, gmail and all the text information is aligned to the middle when mail is arrived. I can not see graphics, only blank spaces for pictures. Outlook all works, not work in webmail services. What could be the problem?

Hi EnjoyRiga,

Would it be possible for you to send me a screen shot of how the email looks in your inbox and I will be able to solve the issue for you. If you send it to info@designsheffield.co.uk – I’ll get to it straight away.

The blank space issue could be due to you not allowing images to be viewed automatically within your email client. You should be able to change this in your settings/preferences. This differs between all email browsers, feel free to send a screen shot of this too and I can confirm this for you.

Many thanks.

I hoped to have found an installation guide with it.

I’m completely clueless on how to integrate this template with my aweber account

Thx for the support

Hi Bartloos,

If you drop me an email at info@designsheffield.co.uk outlining your issue and which particular email client you are using and I will be able to help you resolve it.

Many thanks.

How do I import this template in MailChimp, because in Mailchimp you can’t upload images by making/importing templates.

Hi Tussendoor,

Could you please email me at info@designsheffield.co.uk and I’ll talk you through it.

Is this template responsive across all device and screen sizes?

Thank you.

Kerry M.

Hi kmurdock,

I’ve sent you a reply to your email.

I have tried importing the template into Mailchimp but images are missing after importing. I had added the images to library online but I cannot replace the images with the missing ones.

Please help.

Regards, Sanjay

Hi Sanjay,

I’ve replied to your email.

Many thanks

The template is not working, ive already imported into my mailchimp account and the modules are not editable, or the images… nothing is editable…

Could you please send me an email to info@ds-themes.com and we will be able to assist your further.

It seems you may have uploaded the wrong template to MailChimp – but we can go through it via email.

Many thanks,
