For some reason, I haven’t touched the site in months, the icons on the home page are missing for two of the four icon blocks. Then when you scroll down the home page you will see more missing icons. There are just plain rectangles in this area. I have tried to update and even reload the blocks but it will only display the rectangle icon. The social icons at the very top of the site are also missing and displaying the rectangles.
I haven’t deleted any code or images. Can you help?

I checked your site and I saw that you are using the first release of SmartChoice (v 1.0). Please make a backup of files and database then please do an update for theme and plugins.
Be wary of support. The theme says it’s compatible with 4.0, but quite a bit of little things and display issues will be weird/broken. They responded at first and provided a bit of support but then later told me that it will be fixed in the latest update to fully be compatible with 4.0 and that was suppose to come out on Friday 11/21. 11/21 come and passed, 11/28 come and passed. I wrote them again asking about the update, and they told me Envato did not update it yet. Shot an email to Envato and got no response. Kept emailing them if they can at least provide me with the files to update since I already paid for it and I have a website to run, I can’t wait for when Envato decides to do their job, or maybe there’s not even an update, who knows. But they have not responded since.
The theme is great and very sleek, but don’t expect much on the support at all.
We can provide an update only throught Envato marketplace and the update needs to pass review. If you are not satisfied with support/theme please send a refund request to Envato.
This is the reply directly from Envato: “Also, there are no updates in the queue. Last time this item was updated was on May 30th 2014.”
So what’s with telling me that Envato is the one that has not approved your update yet?

So after my last issue, and envato taking their theme off, they finally tried to “fix” the issues. So after the new one came out, I bought it again since we already invested time into building the site with their theme, now the visual composer doesn’t work correctly. I sent a support ticket with screenshots, and the first person that responded was helpful but then I didn’t hear back anymore. Then a 2nd support responded to the ticket providing me with a new visual composer plugin update which is v.4.4.3. I installed it and still the issue is there and I reply to the ticket stating the issue is still there, the support replies to me that he needs screenshots of the issue…......um my original ticket has the screenshots of the issues. He then later responds in 2-3 days telling me that their smartchoice theme does not support visual composer v.4.4.x…....then why did he give me the patch??! I wrote them back again on 4/28 and have not received any response since. I am usually reasonable but this is beyond ridiculous, and my original ticket is on April 8th, 2015. If you’re not a programmer or developer yourself, stay away from them, their support is so bad that I would wish this on my worst enemy. Will be complaining to Envato again since that’s the only way they will react to anything if their theme gets taken down.
Update for Smartchoice is in queue. We have other products that needs update too and we cannot update all of them at once.
The estimate time for the update is for the weekend. Additionaly, Smartchoice is set as compatible up to Wordpress 4.0 and it is working fine with the current version of Visual Composer.
If you want to use newer Wordpress, there is need for Visual Composer update that’s why you received a newer version of this plugin through support forum before the update for Smartchoice will be released.
Please first check the theme compatibility options before you made an update for your Wordpress and start complaining about theme.
I am not complaining but rather this is the only way to get a response. Your developer couldn’t have told me what you have written above in the ticket that I last replied on 4/28? And my initial ticket was on 4/8?
That was exactly what we tried to explain through tickets system. Please check the ticket history and you will see that we wrote that Visual Composer 4.4+ has not been tested yet.

Pre-purchase questions, I’ve used another one of your themes before and loved it and the support I received so am looking at this one for a different client, I was wondering if the logo could be above the menu (a là Blaszok) ?

Unfortunately, Smartchoice does not have support for WooCommerce functionality. You can use WC but it has been styled to meet theme design.

I have not gotten a response on my ticket. Neither slider revolution nor visual composer came with a license, and it appears that I have to purchase a license to use both in my theme. I could not fund support from the author on the SmartChoice page, and I would like a full refund.
Please check the terms of usage of bundled items at Envato market. We are using a special license provided for themes author so we can bundle those plugins for free. You cannot receive a personal license until you purchase those items separately.
