Theme's page builder "Text" widget is now broken out of the box after updating the theme. Now 100's of pages have uneditable content.
Support has a comment to use the "Custom HTML" widget to replace the "Text" widget but this widget isn't even available for use in the page builder.
Need to renew support to fix an issue caused by your updates or lack thereof?
Sorry but there has been a bit of miscommunication here. Custom HTML is the replacement for Text widget since WordPress 4.8.1. But the Pagebuilder issue is a different one that we're waiting on WP Core to see if they will revert the changes in 4.8.2. We haven't issued an update as we haven't received a confirmation on it yet.
Meanwhile, the fix has been listed under the sticky topic Known Issues (#1) since the bug occurred - you can apply the fix from there. You don't have to renew support to view forums. Hopefully you can reconsider the rating.
Waiting for reply 2 days, support doesn't reply. My slider doesn't show. Support is very bad.
You have waited just 16 hours before rating us 1/5 on a weekend and with expired support pack after using it for 3 years. It's not been 2 days since you created your topic. That's a very unfair review.
Slider obviously works perfectly fine for all our buyers. It has to do with your customizations or plugins. You can try with deactivating your custom codes and plugins first. Your topic will be addressed in the queue within the normal 48 hours period of weekends.
This theme works great and looks great, but because the support for this theme and its poorly developed plugin dependencies, it gradually began to fail over time. The developers made the poor decision to create their own version of SiteOrigin's Page Builder plugin, therefore making it impossible to fix things after WordPress updates break the plugins. Will never buy a theme from this developer again.
We obviously support the Page Builder we have created on top of SiteOrigin's. It works fine even with the latest version of WordPress version 4.8. If you're experiencing any issues, it's likely to be from a 3rd party plugin or an outdated version of the theme. To test, you can disable 3rd party plugins and make sure you're on the latest version of the theme. (use this guide to update properly - login to support forums to view).
