A common issue that can occur with users new to installing WordPress themes is a "Broken theme and/or stylesheets missing” error message being displayed when trying to upload or activate the theme. This error message does not mean that the theme you have purchased is broken, it simply means it has been uploaded incorrectly. Luckily, there is a very easy fix.

1. The first thing you should do is deactivating all your 3rd party plugins which are not included in the theme package. There may be a compatibility issue between the theme and one of your 3rd party plugins.

2. Make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme (you can find the update history at the bottom of the item description page)

Sometimes, your server or SSL configuration may not allow the theme to install the bundled plugins. You can install these plugins manually. Open the zip file which you have downloaded from your Themeforest account. You will find the plugins in “plugins” folder. You can upload these zip files individually from your WordPress dashboard (Plugins->Add new).
