get_option() is a core WordPress function, so this can happen only if the WordPress is not activated on your domain or there is something wrong with the url rewrite in .htaccess or on the server configuration level.

It also uses the following free plugins: Bold Page Builder, Contact Form 7, Meta Box, Sidebar Manager and optionally, WooCommerce
It does not feature ready made blocks for WooCommerce, but you can use full set of WooCommerce shortcodes – https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/ which is essentially the same thing

You can embed video as content in the slider item or you ca set background video to the section holding the slider (the same video background for all slides). Currently you can not set video backgrounds for individual slides (slider items).

Please remove yours as it triggers prior to the document ready and causes JavaScript exception.

It seems related to the caching mechanism which you are using – looks like this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/autoptimize/
We can not be sure why this plugin is producing the error, you may try some other caching method or you may try to contact plugin author.

I’m looking to add a basic filter to control the portfolio posts shown (by category), but can’t see where to implement this, Trying to add any content to the portfolio page section causes all the portfolio items to disappear. Help please

We can see that you have managed to add the static links to portfolio categories to your portfolio archives. That is the only way if you are using post archives to present portfolio as you do.
The portfolio grid element has the option to display filter by categories by default.

Hi – a couple of things related to the Portfolio section.
Is it possible to change the number of portfolio items on display, currently around 10 but want to include more? I’d like to change the default button text at the bottom of the page for Older Post/Newer Posts to refer to Projects, not posts? Finally, I seem to have a bug – if I rename the portfolio slug to something else say ‘recent-projects’, the page breaks. aerialviw.info/portfolio

Related to the portfolio slug, once you change it, please try rebuilding permalinks:
Navigate to your WordPress Dashboard. Go to Settings > Permalinks. Select an alternative permalinks structure -> Save Changes. ... Once done, change it back to your standard structure and hit Save Changes once again.
Related to the labels (Older Post/Newer Posts), you would need to translate the theme labels – the procedure is the same as translating it to another language – http://documentation.bold-themes.com/squadrone/theme-customization/#translation
Changing the number of posts per page can be done from wp-admin dashboard. Please go to Settings > Reading and set Blog pages show at most to the desired number. It will influence portfolio archives as well.

All good apart from the renaming of the portfolio slug, I tried your suggestion but it still shows an empty space where the portfolio section would have been if called something other than ‘portfolio’, I can live with it, but if it is possible to change, I would. The process of changing the portfolio slug for portfolio custom post type is the following:
1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Portfolio 2. Enter the new slug into Portfolio Slug field. This value will be used to generate urls for Portfolio custom post type (for example projects) 3. Regenerate permalinks as explained above 4. Use the new permalink instead of /portfolio/ (in our example, /projects/)
It should do the trick.

This is a great theme, but the Editor is not for a Beginner. Once you get used to how the editor layers, and the functions within the Page Editor; its masterful and super amazing compiling the layout of content within the pages. One thing that we seem to be having issues with is – the Site Footer. It shows on the home page, but does not show up anywhere else throughout the site.

This is how the settings generally work – the settings in the Appearance > Customize panel are global, meaning that they influence every page on the site by default.
On the other hand, you have an option to override these settings on per page basis. If you take a look at the bottom of the page edit form, you will notice Override Global Setting part in Settings Section – here you can override global settings for every page.
Now, the slug of the static page which represents the footer should be defined on Appearance > Customize > Header and Footer panel, field Footer Page Slug
You probably do not have the slug set there, you only have a Footer Global Override on the Home page pointing to the slug of footer static page.
You should set the footer page’s slug on Appearance > Customize > Header and Footer panel, field Footer Page Slug and optionally remove it from the Home Page since it is redundant there.

1. create a new static page
2. use Bold Builder clipboard feature to move footer sections from the Home page to that new page.
3. Set the value of Footer Page Slug field on Appearance > Customize > Header and Footer panel to the slug of the new page.

Ahh!! Just figured out why it wasn’t working. We were using the Underscore for the Slug and not “dash”.
Just want to add a further comment – this theme is SERIOUSLY OUTSTANDING! Yes, the editor is not like your usual WP-Bakery or Muffin Editor, it does take a bit of time to learn it – and definitely take the time to study it and learn it, because once you do – we can assure you, the flexibility of this theme is beyond any we have ever worked with before. The layout options are infinitely endless!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS THEME.

What about calendar features. is there a way to tie it to a calendar so they can see when services are available and pick a date and time

Contact form part of the calculator can have the calendar for choosing date and time, but it can not be integrated with the booking engine which shows what slots are currently available and restrict the choice to only those time slots.
