Hey having an issue that the MailChimp AND Contact Form are not working. MailChimp says “Cannot Connect to Server” and Contact Form says “Sent Successfully,” but never comes in the email box. Any advice. The instructions in the video didn’t really help as it’s set up the exact way as instructed.

I have installed this theme. Now my issue is that i am not able to change the background picture.
I am using the “slide” template.
-i downloaded a png and a jpeg picture 1500×1000. -went to img folder, and uploaded the picture -i deleted the old bg-1.jpg -rename the new picture to bg-1.jpg
Results: Nothing happened, everything still the same.
Can you help me please?

Login to your mailchimp account, go to lists > signup forms > general forms , then click on field settings which is on the right. Now click first name and last name and make sure required field is unchecked for both.
But still, I know that the mailchimp subscription works fine with another template at this address:

Hi, this is a html template you cannot use two sites on the same domain. You can create a sub folder for wordpress or use a local host.

Hi, your subscription form is working perfectly. Wait for a few minutes before the record appears in mailchimp.
To center the contact form first delete the div with col-md-7, replace the class of col-md-5 with this col-md-6 col-md-offset-3.

Hi, this particular phrase is specific to your mailchimp account. Meaning your mailchimp account will have your email address and your specified phrase, which can be changed inside mailchimp’s control panel.
