Looks nice, just a quick opinion, I would lose the Flash ads. They are too distracting, when you really want people to concentrate on the theme (not flashing ads for a theme they’re already on ) I checked the demo on an iPad of curiosity and I see you have a fallback for non-flash devices, the experience is better without the flash IMO. Anyway..nice work, tons of sales hopefully!
Thanks for the opinion dude, didn’t really think of it like that – was more of an afterthought to show off the advert space. Have opted for static.
Loads very slow. Not sure if its your theme or the server you have it hosted on. Other themes in here loads fine, just this theme is really slow.
Typically, our host is having it’s planned maintenance at the moment so that is the reason for the slow loading! Thanks for letting us know though, hopefully it won’t be for long!
it’s loading very slowly. It’s still loading after 10 seconds.
I can’t get theme to load. Almost looks like the loading is in some kind of loop. I tried closing the theme forest bar and also the theme bar you have with same problem
Love it. Really.
Thanks for the kind words, it’s appreciated
Fully loaded beauty, stunning swifty idea.
What is the required featured image size for optimum display in the theme?
Liking the theme a LOT!
Depends what image location you’re referring to. The slider scales up the image to 100% so ideally as large as possible. The rest of the locations will use retina size image on a retina screen, or fall back to standard definition if a standard display or the image isn’t big enough.
Hope that helps, glad you like it
Well I assume that on the main page the article blurbs have their featured images used as headers so I guess I was curious what the smallest size I could have.
Also sorry for the questions, but the black area above the logo with an ad can be removed right?
Smallest size ideally would be 298px wide, any height but I’d say a minimum of 180px high.
No worries, that’s what I’m here for .. Yes, if you check the style switcher on the left of the demo you can turn the sitewide advert off to see how it looks if you choose not to use it.
Feel free to ask any more questions you may have.
How simple is the install? Is it a simple upload of the theme zip and then configure? Love this theme! Great job!!
Hi there, thanks for the kind words!
Yes it’s very simple. Just upload the zip and you’re ready to go. We’ve provided the demo content XML and theme options export so that you can import those if you wish after installing. We’ve also included extensive documentation for everything within the theme incase you need it.
Feel free to ask any other questions
Yes, one more the newsletter signup at the bottom, is there a widget included for that too? How do you extract the data? Thanks for replying to quickly.
The newsletter signup is actually just a form from mailchimp (highly recommended), but you could easily use a 3rd party plugin here.
Thank you again! You have been really helpful! I will purchase by morning.
Great – thanks! If you need anything else, just let me know.
Ed, just wanted to let you know that I purchased and am following the setup instructions. Everything so far is simple and looks great! Do you have any templates designed towards limousine business? Would love to see what you have.
Great, glad you’re enjoying it
Unfortunately not, that’s more of a bespoke use for the theme. If you want any pointers I can try my best to advise.
It is loading very slowly. Reading the comments above, maintenance should not take over 2 hours? I like the theme, but won’t take the risk if its loading slowly.
Maintenance was completed a while ago. It’s been loading fine here, but I just delved a little deeper and found an image that was way bigger in file size than it should have been. I’ve replaced this – hopefully it’s loading faster for you now?
Would really appreciate you letting us know
YES, I noticed that. Also does this theme has the option to display in-post gallery slideshows with key stroke next/prev browsing options and swipe options when re-sized for tablet or mobile? I am planning on using this theme for a current theme, which has majority of its posts as galleries.
Yes, the theme uses this plugin to display in-post galleries in a lightbox http://finegoodsmarket.com/view/ (which features next/prev, but not swipe as of yet). I’m assuming you mean the standard WordPress galleries that you can embed within the post content?
Yes I am not looking for lightbox. I want a gallery which shows photos better than most magazine blogs. Can you create something like this, or have a solution? If so, let me know where I can email you.
Ahh ok, well here we have a post page that includes a swipe/key navigation gallery – http://themes.swiftpsd.com/supreme/post/gallery-post-example-with-no-sidebars/
Feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Great theme. Any idea how it would go with the WooCommerce plugin?
We’re hopefully going to get an example shop page up as soon as we can!
Look forward to it. Will be an easy purchase if it works out.
Got the WooCommerce demo up – http://themes.swiftpsd.com/supreme/shop/
Let me know if you have any questions.
Great theme—just what I was looking for! Pretty impressed how you balanced the ease of customization with the sheer number of customizations available. Based on the first 30 minutes of playing around with it, highly recommend!
Thanks for the purchase and the great feedback, glad to know you’re enjoying it!
If you have any questions or need any help, just let me know.
Am still loving it! Quick question though—I imported the demo xml which helped a lot in the setup, but now I can’t seem to get rid of “Blog – No sidebars” in the categories breadcrumb (http://www.travelpretty.com/long-table-dinner-in-whistler/). Any trick I’m missing? Thank you!
It looks like the page might be a child of this page? http://www.travelpretty.com/blog-standard-with-no-sidebars/
Check the hierarchy (parents) of the page.
Fixed it! Thank you—-for others who might run into it, it looks like the Blog Breadcrumb was checked under Breadcrumbs NavXT. Unchecking it made it disappear.
Glad you sorted it
Wow great theme! Good luck
Congrats, wish you the best with sales
after considering to buy pinpoint & joining the tf forum, i give you a BIG credit because your new theme is improving even more! i mean you hear our needs and act quickly eg. the new retina support, post slider & more
supreme theme is really great & looks awesome. supreme rocks!
i am sure you next theme will be even better with support for wider options (1200+ px), live changer for bg images/patterns & fonts, skins etc
your attitude, support & great work will sure be rewarded!
waiting for the woocommerce demo pages
Thanks! Appreciate the feedback, and always great to know we’re doing a good job
Supreme does feature a live changer for some example bg images/patterns, and also some layout options – not sure if you missed that?
WooCommerce demo pages coming soon
live changer will be awesome when it will be able to change bg images/patterns & fonts for every section (top, header, body, footer etc) just like it does with colors!... i know it can be done ...
...and then live changer would be nearly perfect if it could style separately each page builder block !!! (just like premium one-page themes do in various one-page sections)
but ok, till then we can reward you and look forward with patience for your next great artwork
Are you referring to the style switcher on the demo, or the color customiser that’s available on the backend? If it’s the latter, then all of those are included (top, header – gradient, body, footer – gradient).
Hope that helps
i am refering to the live customiser in the backend… all i say is that in all these sections (header, body etc.) it can “only” change colors, not bg images/patterns nor fonts… or am i wrong?
for example, in page body customiser can change bg color not bg pattern or bg image
then i said it would be perfect to also change (colors, bg patterns, fonts) for all builder blocks…
thx anyway! you do great work
No that is correct. We’ll look into maybe providing image uploads for header/footer etc in the future.
I’m newbee, do I have to install Revolution Slider from external link or it’s somewhere in theme package?
Appearance > Install Plugins.
If I want to translate to more languages, and Must I buy and download the “wpml plugin” first?
You don’t have to, but we would recommend it. It’s a very good plugin for translation. You could however use alternatives if you would prefer.
Hope that helps.
in my ipad 3 your demo site does not really load… neither in safari nor in chrome… it keeps loading for so …loooong… but does not dispaly anything… (other sites load normally)
also in your (mini & masonry) blog demo pages sidebars show empty (w/o widgets)
Thanks for letting us know. Looks like an issue with our caching, I’m on it! Will let you know when it’s sorted.
What pages are you seeing empty sidebars on? I’ve checked but can’t see any?
the issue was with mini & masonry blog demo pages… but now their sidebars look ok… i don’ t knowwhat was then… maybe caching again…
Likely, seems some pages were incorrectly cached – which was causing the iPad to loop on loading.
This should be fixed now
Hi there, before purchase.. can this template have sidebar’s on both sides (left section, middle section, right section)?
Yes, here is an example – http://themes.swiftpsd.com/supreme/default-page-dual-sidebars/
Thnx, that’s it!
Great Theme! Looks like it is loading faster now, too. Looking forward to seeing the woocommerce implementation!
Couple of questions:
1. In the area that opens for search, language, and account, how plausible would it be to have a news ticker already in that area, that changes out when one of the other (search/language/account) buttons is selected?
2. How complicated would it be to have a more custom site registration/sign-in? I do not particularly care for the standard WP registration area, and want to capture more info user, too.
3. (sorry to bother you with so much here…) Can the home page slider be shorter so that it doesn’t take up so much vertical space on the page? What I am seeing is more slider then having to scroll to see there is content below that. I want to see a little content that makes know that this is a magazine/news site, not a business or portfolio site. Does that make sense?
4. Does the slider have to be included on the home page? Is that part of the customization options?
1 – Would be a little bit of php modification to move it, would be easier if you replaced one of the existing aux options if you didn’t plan on using a certain one.
2 – You could likely implement a custom registration through a 3rd party plugin, that would be your best option.
3 – No worries! Yes, I can provide some css to reduce the height if you need it.
4 – No it doesn’t. You can choose whether or not to include the slider (and select number of items and category) / news ticker on each page.
Okay, thanks! One quick observation: If you are getting ready to implement woocommerce onto the theme, wouldn’t that have a registration/sign-in area with it? If so, could that same data be used for logging into the site for content access to certain pages?
WooCommerce is already implemented – we just haven’t set up an example of it yet. I’m not too familiar with the registration setup – but I’m guessing there are plugins out there that you could use to take advantage of it
Heres a demo of WooCommerce – http://themes.swiftpsd.com/supreme/shop/
