This Theme can be safely used for sites with a large number of articles, the speed and load of the site more depends on the server’s resources not on the Theme, and The Affair theme is very well optimized for fast site performance.
The Theme has no color settings for each category separately.

Seems like the files for the demo content have been moved, as wordpress can’t find them. Is there anything that can be done here?

I see it says “Gutenberg Optimized: Yes”. Does this mean that all Pages and Posts can be edited with Gutenberg Editor?
We have a client who likes this theme a lot, but we can only buy it, the if client can change the content with Gutenberg. Because we created other websites for this client and he is only used to the Gutenberg Editor. If we have to work with Page Builders like WP Bakery to create the pages as in preview, then this would not be an option, as it is not user friendly.

Yes, all posts and pages can be edited with the Gutenberg editor.
Homepage settings can be configured in the Appearance > Customize section. We don’t use any page builders (like the WP Bakery Page Builder, as we do agree, they aren’t very user-friendly).

Hello. The Affair uses the default blogging structure with all recent posts being listed chronologically on the homepage according to our demos. This can be overridden via a child theme. Filtering posts by a category is not a feature of the theme according to our demos. We generally don’t provide support for item customization beyond the available theme features. I, however, suggested, that our support agent can do it for you within our support. But I’m afraid, we’re unable to provide support if your support license has expired.
Is there a way to change the background color of the Category Page info? Right now the default is grey.

Hi I love your theme!! Very clean and simple to use. I have a couple of questions: 1. is it possible to add a slight enlarge effect on hover for featured images? 2. Is it possible to have some sections of the homepage (like featured posts or hero section) fullwidth while keeping the rest boxed? 3. In the featured posts of the homepage I would love to have the posts automatically cycle on a timer. I think both this feature and the slight enlarge hover will make the site feel more dynamic and alive. Thanks!!

Hi CodeSupply! First off, thanks for an amazing theme! I absolutely love The Affair. I just have a question – I have version 2.0, but I see that 3.0 has a ton of improvements and extra features. Can I get that upgrade, based on having purchased the theme, or do I have to buy the theme a second time to get to 3.0? I have bought themes from other designers before and usually I get an email whenever an update is available, but I haven’t heard anything for The Affair. Thank you so much!

Sorry for the stupid question…but do I need to delete the v2 theme I currently have running to then install the updated theme? Now when I try to upload the Child.zip it tells me installation failed because the destination folder already exists. Sorry for my ignorance
