Hi there, go to the wp-admin, theme settings>general and there’s a checkbox to hide the search button half way down the page. If you have any further issues please drop a post on our support forum at support.redfactory.nl

I would like to ask if my theme is currently available the version 5.0+ of Revolution Slider? Because I have bought your theme but not able to update (even via FTP) this version with the actual download (which seems included the lastest one).

Hi there, the latest version was included in an update which went out about two weeks ago. You’ll need to download a fresh copy of the theme from your themeforest account (this will be the latest). On your initial site, delete the revolution slider and vc plugin from your site completely. Then install the new version of the theme via FTP to overwrite the existing. Once activated the theme will show a prompt asking you to download and activate the new versions of the plugins from our service. Follow the on screen prompts and you’ll be all set up.

Cool! I handled this after find out that the files I’d changed was not correct one!

Just for your information, I have replaced the folder (wp-content/plugins/revslider/) as your instruction via FTP and it works immediately. Then I guess I couldn’t activate the plugin (to have access to the premium slider library,etc.) as this plugin is included in the theme package. Anyway, it looks awesome.

Hi Jamie,

Just another question concerned about the blog theme. Thanks to your themplate, we are using very often visual composer, revolution slider and style.css to build and modify the webiste for us. However, I couldn’t reach to modified the blog ..in clear way. I mean, at least i couldn’t modify the css of the meta tab (like remove the link to post comment, social , etc…) as well as its language. (we already set up as french website but it always display english words in our blog).

Do you please tell me if there is anyway to really touch this part of the theme?

Hi there, please post a thread on our support form at http://support.redfactory.nl with a link to the site, the pages in question and the words you’d like changed (screenshots can also be included if you’re looking at a specific section) and a member of the team will take a look in the web inspector to try and assist with the relevant css, php edits.

Also, I’m using the portfolio function like in your example “The Company”. To show the four columns. I have instead chosen to put the photos on top and the titles on the bottom.

I have what appears to be a grey filter over the “photo/image” area but I see in your example yours are white. How do I fix this so that there is no filter? I’ve tried to change this everywhere and have yet to find it.

Is this a private section? This site is in production and not public yet.

There is an option to set the thread as private so only the moderator can see, it’s a checkbox at the bottom of the editor just before you submit the post.

Hi are u going to update this theme soon, what about visual composer and other plugins are you going to update all ? Is it compatible with 4.7 ?

Hi there, we had an update a little while ago, which included the latest version of the plugins. Plugins that have been updated since then, will be included in the next update – the dev team haven’t specified a date for future updates at the current time, but when they do update the new plugins will be included. Currently when you install the theme, the versions which are currently supported by this current version are included. I’m currently running the theme on WP 4.7 without an issue.

Hello, I just purchased the theme and I am trying to remove the page title section for all pages. I tried to follow some of the steps that I seen on this forum, but I can’t seem to find the options you are talking about.

Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

The Developer team are currently working on an update for another theme we produce, they’ve not given a timescale for VC5 yet. I’ll drop them a message and see if I can get any more info.

Hi Daniel, it sounds like you’re running out of PHP memory, you can edit this via your hosting account, these limits are set by them. Hello,

I am using Visual Composer and out of nowhere I have lost all access to row settings, so I am unable to change the colour of a background and make it full width. It seems I am having a lot of issues with this plugin and am almost at the point where i am regretting buying it at all.

Hi there, again this could be down to the PHP memory issues you’re experiencing, it could be that all the functions for the page aren’t able to load. Try the solution provided in the previous thread, to increase the PHP memory and hopefully this should resolve the issue.
