Why does the theme create this strange folder? Even if I delete it, it comes back.

Hi there, no the theme doesn’t insert that folder. I would check with your host in case your hosting account has become compromised and that’s malware etc.

It seems that the strange folder is generated when your website sends a cookie to a web browser. I would suggest that you contact the developer of your theme for this problem. It seems that this functionality is intended.
Hi there, the theme isn’t set to send out anything like that. Please try disabling any third party plugins you have installed, especially if you have any which are directly related to cookies. If you continue to have problems, please post a thread in the support forum at support.redfactory.nl and one of the theme will be able to advise further.
When i bought this theme 2 years ago for my school project. i also got a document with all the kind of sections i could make like a section with 2 rows or with 3 rows. last month i bought these theme for my self and i can’t fint that document. can someone help me please?
Hi there, I this theme was only launched in April 14, so it’s not 2 years old yet. Are you sure you have the correct theme? I’ve never seen a document issued for the Company theme. Hi rev slider does not appear on one of my sites on mobile yet appears on anther…same settings..just curious os there is a feature i cannot see thanks!

In the wp admin area – go into the revolution slider tab and enter the slider settings for the slider you wish to check. Go to the mobile visibility tab on the right, about half way down and check that you have the mobile version set to display on the site where it’s missing on the mobile. Finally got around to using this theme but I am having a very big issue: I cannot add images!
For instance, in theme options if I try to add a logo, I click browse, then in the media library I select the image and click “insert into post”. – then I am returned to the previous page and there is no link to the image in the box.
Likewise, if I need to add an image to a section – I click add media, select the image then click insert into post. I am returned to the editor but again nothing happens! Very odd.
If I use the shortcode for “Add responsive Image” I can get an image to appear, but I cannot align the image centred t is always to the left!
Also please can you tell me how I can change the Portfolio Popover button text – it currently says VIEW.
Hi Louis, it could be a number of things interfering with the image editor. From file permissions on your hosting server to plugins interfering with the code used by the theme/wordpress. Please drop a new thread on our support forum at http://support.redfactory.nl/ with your site url and we’ll be able to look into this further.

Is there a custom CSS to change the button text please?
Hi Louis, that’s great, glad all is working. Unfortunately, you can’t change the button text with css, as it’s hardcoded into the php. You’d need to open the portfolio php file and edit the text from ‘view’ to your chosen word on line 137

Hello, I am having trouble with the select buttons on the product page, as wel as the ordering ‘button’ on the shop page. They’re both drop down menus but don’t have an arrow or other icon to show that they’re meant to drop down. Could you please provide me with a solution?

Hi there, at the current time there are no scheduled updates planned for this theme. However, the dev team will address any issues if there are conflicts with WordPress going forwards.
And is it compatible with the latest version of WordPress, WooCommerce and Edge?
We’ve had no reported errors and I’m running a local setup with the latest WP and Woo and it’s fine. I’ve not heard of anyone mention edge before, so I’m unable to confirm that. Is it an extension/plugin?
why you don’t update your theme, including the premium plugin?
I’ve got error on logo after update to new wp, cause site reload to long when access page contains a logo. (getimagesize() error)
The dev team are currently working on an update to the team and updated plugins will be included. In the meantime, please stick to the plugin versions which the theme currently supports and roll back WordPress to resolve until the theme update is issued.

I didn’t realize I would have to build out all of the sections/pages and such with this template. Wordpress is not as intuitive as I thought. I wanted to just change text and images in the Company template, and then run with it. What should I do if I want it to look like the sample?

Hello, I just bought the theme. I imported the demo ( xml file inside the company ) but he didn’t import anything. I want to set up the site such as the example. The slider doesn’t work. I find some issue to make it work. If I could load the demo it would be much easier. I follow the step inside the index.html… but nothing! Could someone help me? Thanks

Make sure you leave a url to your site so they can see how far you’ve gotten and that you’ve installed the slider demo (separate import file) as well as the main demo content. Once you’ve installed the demo content, you’ll need to setup the homepage and the nvaigation to get it to replicate the demo content. Any updates on the theme update?
An update is being worked on, but we’ve not been given a release date as of yet from the Dev team. I’ve emailed them this afternoon for an update, so I’ll post back as soon as I hear from them.
The old Visual composer doesn’t work with Wordpress 4.5. Please Update.
A request for an update has been placed, and chased today.
They don’t support you, they don’t give information. I’m stuck since last week and nothing is working ( visual composer, logo upload, slider ). I want my money back!!!!
All threads on the forum have been responded to. If you need to chase up a point, place a new post on the thread. We are waiting for an update to this theme due to the issues with VC and WordPress 4.5. At the current time if you’re able, we’re advising to roll back to a previous version of WP, prior to 4.5 to resolve temporarily.
Follow up: An update for this theme was published today, bringing it upto date with the latest version of WordPress, and including the newer versions of the included plugins.

Hi there, I would need to check with the dev team, but I’d imagine it would be in the next main theme update. What areas of the new version of Woo don’t work with the theme? Let me know and I’ll get them to check it out.
I don’t know because I haven’t updated it yet. But WooCom 2.6 is a major release, so you most likely will need to update at least some of the files.
If you could confirm a planned release schedule for this i would appreciate it.
We had an update last week, so I doubt they’ll be another within the next few months. The dev team will update the theme though so it works fully with any new versions of the included plugin. I’ll drop them an email to see if they have any plans relating to this, but I don’t think there are any schedule releases planned at current.
The update you released last week does not declare support for WooCommerce 2.6 – as this is a major plugin for your theme, and 2.6 is a major version, i would of thought it would be a priority for you to support this major release. A couple of months is not really acceptable, no?
Hi there, it would depend on what changes they’d need to make to the theme in order to get it 100% working, and where it would fit with the other theme updates they’re currently working on, so I couldn’t guarantee a time frame unfortunately. In normal circumstances, we’d advise to stick with the previous release of a plugin until an update was pushed, as obviously some plugins update sporadically and theme authors then have to catch up etc.
However, I have heard back from the dev team, who’ve advised that all of the plugin functionality comes directly from the Woo plugin, not the theme. We only apply styles to the layout to get it to fit and look seamless within our layout. Woo picks up the style information for most pages from the page.php template, the pages which require additional fixes (the shop page, the single product page and the taxonomy pages) have already been included in the release, so there shouldn’t be any problem using the new version with the latest update. I advised them that some new templates were added, so they’re going to go back and double check them, but they’re confident everything should be working as expected.
