I have bought the theme Dandelion from you, which works on a multi site interface. Can you tell me if I could use this theme will do the same?
Yes, this theme works on a multi site installation as well
hi, nothing about the contact widget nor testimonials box. Would also know how to put the featured blog posts and projects on the home page. Thanks

I posted this question to Pexeto support yesterday and didn’t receive an answer. How can I add titles to carousel on front page?
I have already posted my reply to your question on the support site – you can read about the regular response time on our Terms and Conditions page.
Ive been looking at a few themes over the past day and this one is on the top of my list _ i might just purchase it when I get home.
there are template pages, already created and in the theme, for different posts/pages such as galleries and blog, correct?
Thank you for the interest
I’m not really sure whether I understand your question correctly, but generally there are predefined templates that come in the theme (for blogs, galleries, etc.) but you have to create the page by your self – just create the page and assign the template to it – this is how all the WordPress themes work.
thanks, sorry to simplify. I can make a new page and in there somehow choose the type of page I want it to be from a pre-created list.
meaning if I want to make a new gallery of flower pictures I can create a new page – name it ‘flowers’ set the template to gallery and Ill be able to populate photos and make other choices such as layout (columns) and scrolling etc?
Hope that made a bit more sense.
Yes, there is a list of templates that you can choose from. Only the blog page is not created by a template, but it is still very simple to set it – there are complete instructions about how to set the theme in the documentation that comes with the theme.
Regarding a gallery – the easiest way to create a gallery is to use the Quick Gallery where you can upload all the images at once. If however you need more advanced gallery options, such as categories, different click actions, etc. you have to use a Portfolio Gallery template. With it you have to create a new page and then each image is represented by a portfolio item and there is a dedicated section to add new portfolio items.
Also we have included a beginners section in the documentation that includes some helpful links and explains how to get started working with the theme.
is there a quick fix for the thumbnail image on a blog post not showing up in the sidebar?
You have to use the “Pexeto Latest Posts Loader” widget in order to have the image displayed – for more information please refer to the “Widgets included” section of the documentation.

yeah, I’ve been using that; even activated/deactivated the plugin automatically/manually and nothing.
If you have any problems with using the widget, as I posted above, you can use our support site to open a ticket and describe us the problem, as this is where all the Pexeto items support is handled:
(page is in dutch but I’ll explain it in English)
Currently I made a page ‘pictures’ (dutch: foto’s) (http://coupurefeesten.be/?page_id=191). Next to it I created 2 portfolio galleries with each of them containing a couple of pictures.
My goal is to show all my pictures on the ‘pictures’ page and then filter them on portfolio in the filter men ‘show me’ on top. Just like in your live preview. However I currently have to push the thumbnail picture of one of the portfolio galleries in order to go to a new page to view all the gallery pictures.
Can you assist me?

Just an FYI . I noticed that your dropdowns weren’t working on the nav. I took a look at your script.js file and saw that it was targeting an incorrect class. It was targeting the class “submenu” when the markup was showing the class of “children”. Once I changed the class name in the js file and uploaded the dropdown was fixed. I downloaded this theme on March 4th.
Thanks for your notice Actually I think you have experienced this because you haven’t used the Appearance -> Menus section to build your custom menu, as explained in the documentation – this is the right way to build a menu with the theme.
Greetings – I own this theme (it’s awesome), but thought I would pose my question here as others might be interested (and the answer will determine if I buy it again for another site I’m building!!). Does it handle child themes OK? I want to be able to get core theme updates and so would prefer my developer to work via a child theme instead of editing the code directly. Main changes will be around re-arranging the layout and creating a bunch of new post and page templates. Thanks!
I have created a basic child theme and everything worked fine, but I haven’t tested absolutely every single file, but I think it should be working fine. As you have the theme now, depending on what you would like to accomplish, you can test the modifications with a child theme and make sure that everything will be okay before purchasing.
Hello! Are you planning an update to make The Cotton responsive? It will be great!
We have had this idea in mind for some time so we will be considering this for the future development of the theme
can I personalize the menu on the sidebar for each page?
I’m searching a theme for my writing course website.
Sorry for my english, I’m italian!
Yes, you can create different sidebars for the different pages
When i use the built-in contact form it doesnt show swedish characters in the mail that i receive. Is there a way to fix this?
Tried registering on your forums but couldn’t find that certificate it was asking for, therefore I’m posting here, I hope you will reply promptly:
The theme is nice, the code is nicer. I only have one issue: Although I changed my logo via the panel and adjusted the height and width as instructed, when I access the website on my MOBILE phone, the old Cotton logo is still there. All other changes are in place. I have reset cache, history on my phone but it’s still showing up.
My website is at We Dessert More
You can find the instructions about how to get your purchase code here, after that you should be able to register for our support site and post your question in there (here on the comments section we answer pre-purchase questions only).
There is a twitter feed in your footer but I don’t see any twitter widget. Is it just hiding or is there a plugin that you recommend for the twitter feed?
P.S. You can read about the widget in the “Widgets included” section of the documentation.
Great theme! I was wondering though, is it possible to install the dummy content from the demo site? In which case – how?
Thanks, I’m glad you like the theme
Yes, we have included a dummy content file that you can import, however we don’t really recommend it as first of all the theme is very easy to set and on the other hand WordPress doesn’t export absolutely all the settings and also the dummy content imports lots of data that you are not going to use.
This theme is very cool. thanks to pexoto
But this theme don’t support mobile environment.
(I can’t find any settings about it)
Do you have a plan to support mobile env.??
The theme looks and works well on mobile devices, just there isn’t a separate mobile version – if you need a mobile theme for the mobile devices, you may try with a mobile theme plugin.

I LOVE the theme but have a couple questions before purchasing.
1. Can I make an unlimited number of sliders? The site I will be building will have many portfolios and each portfolio project page needs a slider.
2. Can sliders be added to the individual project pages? I didn’t see this on the demo anywhere.
Thanks so much!
I’m glad you like the theme
1. Yes, the theme supports unlimited sliders – for each page you can assign a different slider.
2. If you mean single portfolio item pages (the one that is opened when you click on the item title in the gallery) – by default the theme supports sliders to pages only, not posts and portfolio item pages. However, you may either consider using a slider plugin such as the Nivo slider plugin which will allow you add sliders wherever you like or alternatively you may link the items to other pages that contain a slider.
I have purchased this template and it looks great. I do have a couple questions though:
- Under ‘the cotton options’ panel, it lists the various pages, such as the ‘contact us’ template, however I cannot find how or where to activate it? as well as the blog, portfolio and home header buttons – which go across the top header. I have filled out the info but how do I make it display?
- is there a way to add social networking buttons (facebook like code) to the top header somewhere?
- where do I add the drop down menus?
Thanks very much
