I purchase this theme a long time ago. I never used it. What does it mean, “You have 1 license for this item.” I never published a website, so I do not think it was ever used. How do I know if I need to purchase another license? I don’t think I should have to.
You don’t need to make any additional purchases.
The purchase you made grants you 1 license for it.
“You have 1 license for this item” doesn’t mean you have used the license. It’s just how many licenses you own for the item.

At the moment the sharing functionality is limited to the ones that are shown (facebook, pinterest, twitter, linkedin and email).
But I’ll add whatsapp to the to do list for next update.

Themeforest doesn’t have an updates delivery system in place (updating the theme through the WP admin dashboard) so we implemented a system for that and release the updates that way.

Hi there – I’m interested in buying this theme, but I’ve a couple of questions: 1- Does the theme support multiple authors (I might have to use some plugins) with their own access to their own area/section only? I might have one author that can contribute to travel topics and another who contributes to Hotel topics.
2- Does the theme come with a one click installation so I get exactly what it looks like on the demo?

1) You’ll need to use a plugin for something like that. Functionality like that isn’t usually part of themes.
2) Yes, there’s a one click installation. But the images from the demo are not used, a regular placeholder image is used.
I love the look of this theme, but I have to admit that I am so frustrated! Not only is the Meridian Style extremely clunky, but there is absolutely no area what I can globally adjust typography and colors. I don’t want to have to change every single element; not to mention that I’ve used the styler to click on every element, and I still can’t get the pink color changed. This is not what I expect from such an expensive theme, and I would very much appreciate some help changing colors globally.

Sorry to hear that. Can you send over the URL to the website, I’ll check which of the elements have the color unchanged and send over the CSS code to change them all.
I ended up changing my logo and color scheme to match. It works, but it is certainly not ideal. I’ve never used a theme where there wasn’t any way to globally change the main and accent colors, so I’m a bit disappointed.
That being said, while this is fixed, I would love to know how to hide a single category from being displayed as an image overlay and on the meta data. I use an ‘All’ post category to customize my RSS Feed emails, and I’d like to hide it publicly on the website. What code would I need to add to do that? Ideally, CSS so that I can add it to the CSS Editor and protect it from being erased if the theme is updated.

You’re right. We will definitely add options for making a global changes to colors and fonts.
As for the category, WordPress does not add any specific classes or IDs to the output, so it would require some PHP code. You can find more info about it at: https://www.webhostinghero.com/exclude-specific-categories-from-the-meta-info-in-wordpress/
Keep in mind that it’s best to go with a child theme when making changes like this. More info at https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

Is it a high traffic website? If it is then it’s possible that it’s hitting the Facebook API calls limit.
If that is the case then you’ll need to set up a Facebook App, and then enter the App ID and App Secret in WP admin > Appearance > Customize > Other.
The limits are higher when it’s a Facebook App.

Was just about to look into that and fix but I ran into a bit of a problem, I can’t find where that happens. In the ticket you mentioned it’s on the single post page, but ALT is being applied to the featured image on the single post page.
Not on the demo since we haven’t added any ALT text for the images in the WP media library, but if there is ALT text added it will show up.

Hi, I’ve been using this theme and really like it. Recently I just noticed that my instagram feed in the footer has just stopped loading and shows as a box with question mark. I went back and checked to make sure the user ID and access token were current and still the same and can’t make it change. I’m also not able to customize the blog post single element. Thanks!

The theme was updated a few days ago ( version 1.2.9 ) which fixes that issue. You’ll see the update notification in WP admin > Appearance > Themes, just click on update ( if you have dashboard updates enabled in WP admin > Appearance > Theme Welcome ).

Hi, on Android Mobile devices, if you open my blog www.caietul-cristinei.ro from Facebook App (and the app is not set to open links in browser), after the message “You are leaving Facebook…” my blog will look like that. I see the issue but also I tested it for the theme demo on which the issue does not happen. So it’s not directly related to the theme, might be a conflict with some plugin. So, please send over WP admin info ( user/pass ) and I’ll take a look at it.

Those images ( avatars ) are not directly handled by the theme. The theme just uses a WordPress function that outputs them.
WordPress uses Gravatar for that, so check the settings over there.
If everything is fine there, have you installed any plugins since the last time it worked?

I just purchased the theme. Then, there was an update within minutes after installation. Suddenly, the excerpts in the archive pages aren’t appearing. It just says “continue reading”

Yeah, the version on Themeforest is a bit old, the theme has dashboard updates so it shows the notification for updating right after the activation.
But there shouldn’t be any troubles with the excerpts. Can you please send over the URL to the website and WP admin info, but not here in the comments, they’re public, do it via meridianthemes.net/themeforest/
