This is a beautiful theme with several built-in options, but the lack of customization and difficulty navigating customization is rather disappointing. I'm so sad about this because I debated purchasing this theme for quite some time and was really excited to see it in action.
-Customizing typography throughout is time-consuming and I wasn't able to figure out blog posts.
-The carousels were also frustrating as I have multiple categories for each of my posts and all of them kept showing up on the homepage (when applicable to the layouts). I opted for a layout I didn't really want because of this.
-Also customizing colors and styles for links and fonts was also not a simple task.
-Using the Meridian Styler wasn't very helpful because not all elements could be customized.
-Carousel images did not reset to the same size by default so it wasn't visually appealing.
-No way to set a number for the small carousel, which would mean that I would have to un-tag a post to keep order on the homepage (I have 300 articles under "featured" that I changed to "carousel-small" like the theme documentation stated. Previous themes allowed for me to limit the number(.
-In the customizer, something was causing the page to freeze, I believe it was the small carousel trying to load the maximum posts because setting a limit number wasn't available.
-I didn't see a way to include different content boxes (different sections based on categories, tags). It seems that it's only one grid block of posts.
-Widgets: one of the recent post options also displays all the categories of a post, making it a muddled mess.
If you're looking for something that I a quick setup because you don't really want to do too much to the theme, this is great. But I was under the impression that I would have way more theme options overall.
