I purchased your theme, I love it, however, when using version 7 I would like to repace the heart with a star. I cannot find where the SVG id drawn or saved in the template.
Which heart you are actually mention here?
the page loader heart with animation? if yes then it locate in “img/preloader.gif” and calling by using css
Just replace image with similar name then you don’t need to do anything in code.

I have the domain purchased as well, I am wondering how one what tool is best to upload and edit the template onto the domain that I have purchased. I am curious if this template would work with Wordpress and if so How to I upload it to the domain?

Hello Ken, As this is a HTML5 template, you can not install it in WordPress. You just need to upload the files in your server root folder and its good to go.
And for editing, you will need basic HTML/CSS knowledge. Or you can get help from a developer.
