QreativeShortcodes dont want to activate even if i deactivate everything else to look for incompatibility

Please check if the “The Landscaper Toolkit” plugin is installed on your website. If so, you can safely delete the QreativeShortcodes plugin form your website as that plugin is not used anymore.

Also, please check if you have updated all bundled plugins under Appearance -> Install Plugins (like the Advanced Custom Fields PRO and Essential Grid plugins)

If you still don’t have access to the page builder on the back-end of your pages please install the Classic Editor plugin as that should bring back the page builder mode.

If this all doesn’t work please send us a message through the contact form on our profile page with a login to the WordPress website and we will have a closer look to figure out what’s going on.

For now you’ll have to install the Simple Image Sizes plugin and then you can change the following image sizes under Settings -> Media:

• thelandscaper-featured-large
• thelandscaper-featured-thumb

After doing this you have to re-upload your featured image to the service page so the new image size will be applied, or you can use the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin to regenerate all image sizes.

The plugins are not abandoned but not updated for a period because there is nothing to update. These are small plugins that will only add one functionality each to WordPress and that’s what they still do, it don’t make sense to update for the sake of updating when the plugin is doing what it should do and everything is properly sanitized and escaped. No new features have to be added to these two plugins.

Fortunately the theme is flexible and you can install different plugin(s) that provide the same functionality if you prefer that.

1. Please make sure to have updated all plugins under the “Plugins” admin tab
2. Update the theme bundled plugins as well under Appearance -> Install Plugins (Advanced Custom Fields PRO, The Landscaper Toolkit and Essential Grid)
3. Make sure to have selected PHP 8.0 or 8.1 (WordPress and some plugins don’t seem to fully function properly yet on PHP 8.2)

To fix the issue on your end please download the latest theme version from ThemeForest (make sure to be logged in to the account that purchased the theme) and update the theme on your website, including all plugins under Appearance -> Install Plugins.

Thanks for the plugin tip. Some could be integrated so. Unfortunately without further plugins Roboto and Google+Sans are still loaded from gstatic and fonts.googleapis.com.

You can download the Local Google Fonts plugin. This plugin will download and serve the Google fonts files from your own server.

The following steps can be followed to configure this plugin:

• Install and activate the Local Google Fonts plugin
• After activating the plugin navigate to the homepage of your website (so the plugin is able to scan the fonts on your website)
• Navigate to Settings -> Google Fonts
• At the “Handle: thelandscaper-fonts” section press the “Host Locally” button and wait a few seconds

Now the fonts files are locally hosted and served from your server instead of from Google Fonts.

Please note that changing the font within the theme customizer to another font you will have to repeat the above steps.

I did the steps you’ve told me, but unfortunately it keeps loading the https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/webfont/1/webfont.js from the Google Server, which is not GDPR compliant anymore.

Do you have a other idea how to fix this?

That’s the Google Web Font Loader script which is not used in our theme, this should be coming from an additional installed plugin on your website.

Unfortunately there is no setting for that yet but you can add the following CSS code to Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS as workaround:

Could you try the following two things:

1. Go to Elementor -> Settings -> Advanced and change the “CSS Print Method” to “Internal Embedding” and save the page. Then change it back to “External File” and save again.

2. Go to Elementor -> Tools -> General and click the “Regenerate Files & Data” button

3. Make sure the page you’re editing as homepage inside Elementor is set as actual homepage for your WordPress installation under Settings -> Reading at the “Your homepage displays” setting.

The latest Essential Grid version can be downloaded through these steps:

1. Go to the Plugin admin tab
2. Deactivate and delete the Essential Grid plugin
3. Go to Appearance -> Install Plugins
4. Install the Essential Grid plugin
5. Activate the Essential Grid plugin

1. Latest theme version

The latest theme version can be downloaded form the ThemeForest account that made the purchase. If the previous developer has purchased it and there is no way to reach out to this person the best is to purchase the theme again, or let the client purchase the theme so he/she always have access to theme updates.

2. Elementor compatibility

The Elementor compatibility was added in theme version 3.0. If this version is installed on the website you can start using Elementor (make sure to have the – bundled – plugins updated as well under Appearance -> Install Plugins).

Please note there is no migration between SiteOrigin and Elementor. If you already built your website and want to switch page builders you have to start from scratch.

3. Child theme

The child theme is added to the full download package you can get from the download page of the account that purchased the theme. If you need help with migrating from the current theme to the child theme I have to ask you to open a ticket on our support desk, but an active theme license is required for that.
