This theme needs an update, don’t buy it until the fix the issues so many bugs!

For everyone that got problems: - Theme installation works, read the documentation - The theme creator messed up with not updating WP Bakery to 6.10 version, Themeforest should remove this theme from sales until they fix this.

Since I upgraded to PHP 7.4 the plugin “Elle Framework” does not work anymore correctly. There ist an error code showing up on the website:

Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/.sites/149/site3894473/web/wp-content/plugins/elle-framework/admin/inc/class.redux_filesystem.php on line 29

The problem would probably be fixed if I downgraded to a PHP version earlier than 7.4, but unfortunately this is not possible with my provider. And there is no update for the plugin either.

I wrote an email to ellethemes a week ago, so far I haven’t gotten a reply. The support page has also been down for some time. Has anyone had similar experiences? Or does anyone have an idea what I could do?

FYI: A new update was released which has an update to the latest version 6.9.0 of WPBakery. I have 6.8.0 which works fine, but the update breaks the site. I won’t be updating, not sure how long one can stay with older versions of software?

After the update, the revolution slider problem is solved but now the codeless framework plugin is giving issues. When I am trying to click on customize page for the theme, the site goes down and the customize page doesn’t load. After going to recovery mode, it pauses the plugin and shows the following error in the description:

Hi Ellethemes, I bought this theme today (specifically for the look of the homepage slider) and after installig I wanted to show the BusinessAgency homepage.. But apparently, the revolution slider is not working because it requires a newer version of the plugin. The support page is also unreachable. Can you please urgently look into the issue?

I have a question about “the simple” theme. Since the new PHP versions 7.4, 8.0 and 8.1 are the only ones usable (used 7.3 before) the website doesn’t function properly anymore. I discovered what the problem is. It’s the plugin Elle Framework. I have disabled all plugins with no difference, only when i disable the Elle Framework is works fine. What can i do about this? Note: with PHP version 7.3 everything worked fine.

Hi, your theme has a problem of security (standing as said bu bitdefender antivirus) . The file is also SIGNED AS MALWARE by BITDEFENDER on your DEMO: http://thesimple.ellethemes.com/wp-content/themes/thesimple/js/main.js?ver=1 and block some functionality.
