I bought the Thorium theme some time ago and recently I purchased a license of Elementor Pro, but almost everything on the theme stopped working.
Is there any easy way to use Elementor Pro with the Thorium theme?

Hi there, fantastic looking theme. Quick questions, can the /portfolio/ root name for the works be changed in /projects/ ? Is there only one case study template? And in that template is the full width header image needed or can it be left blank? Thanks!

Oh thanks. But now that I think, are the projects in the portfolio fetched with an Elementor component? If that is the case we can choose whatever name we want for the page we are going to put the portfolio in, right? We use WPML and we are doing that at the moment (but with Visual Composer).

I was wondering; can I make a fixed aspect ratio for the portfolio thumbnails? So it’s always the same size (and centered), even though my uploaded image is a different ratio then the thumb itself.

Hi, beautiful theme! I’m considering buying it. For the portfolio index, I’d like to show title / text beneath the images, exactly like the journal (except I wouldn’t want to show a date). Is that possible out of the box, or would I have to use the journal template as a portfolio and get a plugin to hide the date? Thanks!

Actually the Portfolio element is created with the page builder Elementor and is separated from the blog page. Combining them(using the blog layout in Portfolio) won’t be possible without editing some files. But that can be achieved easily from our side after the purchase. Also the date can be removed easily via some custom css.

Please deactivate all your plugins and install all required plugins of Thorium, the option of Thorium are located in Appearance > Customizer and the page builder of Thorium is called Elementor, install and activate it, after that you’ll be able to create pages easily.

Thanks for the fast response, I will try that now. I followed all instructions in the docs, the Customizer wasn’t even visible under Appearance.

Thanks. One last thing, why can’t you edit the the font sizes and styles once the pages are open in Elementor?
You’ll be able to edit the font size via the text editor element easily.

Hi guys, really beautiful theme! Just a quick check before I go for it, please (sorry if the questions are obvious/dumb):
- Will I be able to essentially make a single landing page style site, with header menu items directing to sections within the same page?
- Is there a contact form that I can add, say, above footer?
- Can Proton do these same things, but with header menu not being hidden behind a hamburger?

1) Sure you can, you can insert a unique id to each section you want, then in the header, you point it from a custom link.
2) Thorium is fully compatible with Contact Form 7 plugin, you can install it and drag & drop anywhere you like the forms.
3) Sure, there are 3 headers on Proton, you can use the one you like the most.

Amazing theme congrats, but I found a bug that is a bit annoying. The filter list of the portfolio on mobile doesn’t go away. I believe it should go away when you tap an option and when you tap away.

Just to clarify, this issue only occurs when using an actual mobile phone, on a desktop browser and even resizing the window to mobile size seems to be fine.

Well, most of the modern browsers doesn’t allow the iframe to autoplay if it has sound, so if you mute it, the autoplay will work fine.

Hi Guys, Great looking theme. Interested in knowing if there is a native option for sticky header in the theme? Can the blog posts in ‘Journal’ show featured images? Can the fonts be easily changed to something like Renner? Or would this stuff require changing the code?

1) I’m sorry but sticky header is not supported at the moment, but we can provide you with custom css, in case you’re interested and that will be the only case.
2) Yes, images are included on the blog, we have disabled them only in our demo.
3) Well, Thorium is highly compatible with the plugin Easy Google Fonts, so the change of fonts is pretty easy and quick via this plugin. You don’t have to code anything, it’s all included on customizer, right after plugin is activated. - https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-google-fonts/

Well there is not any actual option where you can invert the theme colors, but there is an option where you can change the main color of theme (pink in our case), I can help you with custom css, if you’re interested, it won’t take more than 2-3 minutes to override main elements to the color you’re looking.
