From your dashboard, go to Settings → Permalinks.

The KB Posts are stored in a CPT (Custom post type). So all of them are available for the default WordPress REST API.
The Helpful plugin with this theme does not install, I checked out the plugin on WP website and this is what it said about the plugin:
"This plugin has been closed as of 26 August 2022 and is not available for download. Reason: Security Issue."Any ideas?

Since the plugin raise security issues it would be best to not go forward with the installation of any other prior versions either.

does this require use of WP Bakery or can I use default Gutenberg post editor. I do not wish to use WPbakery editor.
This theme uses shortcodes made through WP Bakery, you can place the codes in a block in Gutenberg and they will appear on the frontend.
Hi, We are currently using HelpGuru Knowledge Base from hero themes and wanted to switch to yours. Do you know if it’s easy to transfer the knowledge base between themes?
If their KB feature (knowledgebase) is from a plugin (and not from their theme), then all you have to do is install and activate the theme.
Keep in mind that we also have the KB plugin (ours – ModelTheme listings manager) and if you use another plugin, just keep this one disabled.
Problems that may appear: unstyled elements (if the KB plugin has no styling with it).

The theme appears to be a bit spacey with lots of gap between wp bakery blocks… Can someone suggest how to eliminate that?

If you are referring to the Blog page, you can set the content to be full by going in the Theme Panel > Blog Settings > Blog List Layout

Is there any way to run the knowledgebase from word press posts rather than knowledgebase posts. the knowledgebase posts aren’t even detected as content so they will never be indexed by google

As you can see the pages are all indexed (including single knowledgebase posts).
In terms of indexing there is no limitation from our theme and the posts should be indexed normally.
Note: Make sure that the search engine visibility is not checked (if you want your website indexed by search engines – https://i.imgur.com/X5ZOIZx.png )

Can multiple manuals/knowledge bases be created and also managed independently on the backend? In other words, are the pages in the admin managed separately for each manual or are the pages all together?
