Hi, how can I update to the latest version if my support has expired? The update was released when my support was active but I was too buy to update my site at that time. Now with my support lapsed my site won’t automatically update. Also, if I don’t update does this mean my site is incompatible with the latest version of wordpress? Thanks

Hi,

In order to use the automatic updating system, you need to have active support period for your theme license. As I can see, you’re support period expired. You can still update the theme to the latest version if you follow the steps presented here.

Thanks,
Alexandru

Ok, I get it. I should have read the documentation more thoroughly. Thanks for your prompt reply.

I updated to the latest version but I am finding issues with the theme on mobile phones. On both my samsung and friends Iphone the site displays the site name banner overhanging the text on project pages. This means the text cannot properly be read. This was an issue before update I believe. Using thumbnails means the site name overhangs on the thumbnail too. Another quirk is the font used for the site name is different on the two devices. my site is https://siknight.com/ I’d be grateful if you take a look and let me know if there is an easy fix.

Hey,

I’m sorry to hear about that. Please use the Theme Help button to open a private ticket and we’ll take it from there.

Hey,

Yes, the problem has been fixed in the last theme update, released last month. See the changelog — https://wupdates.com/timber-changelog.

It’s still a problem for you?

Alin

hey – yes, it’s still a problem, exact same issue as in the previous comment that I linked to. Had multiple reports of not scrolling/loading next batch, on Windows, in Chrome and Firefox. Can you confirm ?

Hey,

I’m still unable to replicate this. Perhaps you can send me a message to hello@pixelgrade.com with a few more details (OS and browser version for instance)?

Thank you,
Alin

Hi Pixelgrade Team,

Although I love this Theme I am still having several issues with this theme as of WordPress 5.3.2 and Timber Version 1.8.1. When I switch pages it will go into a loading screen loop and get stuck. On the portfolio archive it will get stuck loading the first 6 items and then not load anymore items or allow to continue scrolling down. Then on basic pages it will not load the page contents. This is experienced with Google Chrome Version 80.0.3987.100, Opera Version:66.0.3515.72, and Firefox Version 73.0

The issue is so bad I had to buy a separate theme and host another wordpress site on a subdomain because people couldn’t get through to my rates page or booking form. They would have to refresh the page until the content appeared or go directly to the page by directly typing in the address into the browser. Please fix this as I love this theme and wiling to buy another license to support further development, but its been two years and several updates but no fixes to these bugs.

Hi, is it ready for wordpress 5.4?

Thank you, Radek

Hi Radek,

From our checks so far, there’s no problem with Timber theme on WordPress 5.4. However, on our demo, we still use 5.3.2, so I recommend staying on that, too, at least until we’ll release an update to make sure that everything’s fine.

By the way, is there a specific function from latest version of WordPress that you’d like to have on Timber theme?

Thank you,
Alin

Is there a known reason or fix that this theme does not work with Woocommerce? PayPal buttons do not appear unless the page is reloaded. Stripe’s checkout (credit card form) appears broken, until the page is reloaded. This will lead to many lost sales as people don’t realize they need to refresh for everything to work.

The issue has been confirmed on multiple browsers, on multiple computers. Disabling all plugins does not fix the issue, leaving the theme as the most likely culprit. Changing the theme fixes the issue on the same site with all other plugins enabled. Completely disabling the themes JS also fixes the issue, meaning that is most likely where the problem is.

Variable products are also broken and I have seen a few other comments dating back a few years about that issue and it still seems to be present.

Would love to know if there’s a fix for this.

Hey,

I’m sorry to hear about that.

When we tested last time Timber with WooCommerce, everything worked fine. Maybe there’s something related to a most recent version of WooCommerce. Could you please send me a message via email to hello@pixelgrade.com so we can investigate this further together?

Thank you,
Alin
