I cannot for the life of me get the background image to show up.. It loads but when I hit save it vanishes.. the background color wont change either.
I also played with the jQ theme roller, I did get it to work but it whacks out the gallery badly.. also makes the themes nav menu full width and makes my logo sit left. the “documenter style sheet”.. the right one to add the jQ custom CSS to?
I assume Im doing something incorrectly. lol I just want a soft beige/light tanish tone to the nav menu and background.
Oh, touch/click on the phone number to call? I played, cant get it to work.. Can a button be used? If so, how to attach the number to click and call?
Really Love the theme, so easy to build. I personally just used a separate WP install, its so cheap to host.. so it made it really easy. Copy, pasted, did a bit of adjusting from the content on my main site. Added a plugin to detect/redirect mobile users. I used this- http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wapple-architect/
Architect>Advanced settings>mobile redirect>Yes>enter URL >save. I didnt adjust one other setting in the plugin… Works beautifully.
You can test it users with the QR code. http://kastylephotography.net/kastylephotographymobile/
Ok, so Im a geek and excited my mobile site is up! Good luck builders!
Can anyone help me with this – I currently have a desktop theme (Cotton) and when i try to install this mobile theme alongside it if i keep the Home page using the “home page” template in cotton it forces the homepage to be a blog on the mobile (which is strange as the home page is set to static in the settings. ) However if i click on “front page” template on the mobile theme it messes up the front page on the desktop site (adding a sidebar below the slider) but takes me through to the menu i want on the mobile site.
I notice it clashes with one or two other pages also – is this common? I have tried working with wordpress mobile pack and theme switch but to no avail.
is it possible to use two different menus one for a desktop theme and one for a mobile theme? Or is there something i’m missing in the settings here?
I’m trying to edit the css of the theme to be more in-line with the look we are going for but most of the styling is pulling from a style sheet not included with the theme. Located here http://code.jquery.com/mobile/1.1.0/jquery.mobile-1.1.0.min.css instead of the style.css file that comes with the theme. How might I go about changing those styles or is this css file located somewhere I haven’t found yet?
Sorry for the slow reply, I have been away and without internet for a while. To edit the styles of the theme, the easiest way is to use the jQuery themeroller which can be found here:
This will generate a custom CSS file for you. I hope this helps,
Oh yup, I meant to post on this yesterday that I found that out through some exploring of the jquery site and yes it is very quick and easy to generate custom css styles through Themeroller. Thanks a ton Tom.
hey, i already bought this theme, If i wanted to make a feedburner account, is it RSS enabled? thanks, it looks great btw.
Sorry for the slow reply, I have been away and without internet for a while. Yes, RSS should work as normal.
Can’t get this theme to work. Theme options don’t change anything and it doesnt look anything like the demo version by default. Dont buy this until the developers respond to the above issues that everyone is facing.
Sorry for the slow reply, I have been away and without internet for a while. What exact problems are you having? Most people have faced no issues with the theme and everything has worked as expected. Have you got the latest version of WP and set up the theme as described in the docs?
The demo is not even working
Sorry all fixed now, apache had crashed! Tom
I still can get my background image to work..
I bought your theme for the mobile version of my website.
When I put a link on a page and try to click on it once it’s online, it always return «undefined».
Here is an example : http://www.conceptekilibre.com/mobile/crossfit/ (Click on «Outils» to see the two links». You need a mobile device to see this error.)
Sorry for the slow reply, try adding rel=’external’ into the anchor tag and this should fix the problem. jQuery mobile treats links differently which is why this is needed.
I try to change theme color but it have 4 choice.
I looking in document about http://jquerymobile.com/themeroller/ and I try to use it so it don’t work.
Could you help me step by step?
The themeroller is to add your own styling for the jQuery mobile framework. If this is what you want then when you have created the CSS file, just add the styles to the bottom of the styles.css file in the theme folder. For this to work you need to make sure that the the theme letter is ‘a’ and then use the dark theme.
Otherwise, the 4 colour options in the theme just change the default theme colours.
^ Same here. Not seeing any reference to the theme colors.
Excellent that worked!
I want to add a secondary menu. I already created the menu in the Wp-Admin and added it to the functions.php file and template-front-page.php However it’s not picking up the same CSS styling as the original menu.
Can you help me out with this one?
Have you checked that the HTML markup is exactly the same? As long as it is, it should be styled correctly. What is the problem with it?
It’s exactly the same. Can I email you the code to check it out?
Yes, please feel free to send it to the email in the help file and I will have a look. If you could send a link to the page or a screenshot so I can have a look that would be great.
I feel the same way as feelcreative, when I installed the theme, and tried to put a logo and change colors in theme options, nothing seems to get change at all. it doesn’t look anything like as the demo.
please give me an advice
dross321, check out the help file that came with the download. There are some minor settings you need to change in wordpress.
Great Travis..thanks.. saw it now.
I want to have two menus on two different template files.
This is what comes with this template;
<?php wp_nav_menu( ‘menu=1&container=true&items_wrap=%3$s’ ); ?>
How does it know which menu to display?
Getting a lot of trouble with this.
Will this work with buddypress MU and can this support ads?
Hello, I am having some trouble adding adsense code into posts. It will not show up on first load, only after refresh. I guess this is due to ajax load, is there any way around ajax page loading or a way to get these ads to show? Thanks for any help.
I have 2 urgent questions:
1.) How do I change the top boarder and what is a great size to use for the logo shown here:
2.) Can you send or email me a well working xml file of the demo? The one that comes with it, has a few a pages not working so well for me.
