Hello. You can only edit the content of the modules. You cannot change their structure (like column width or replace inner elements with elements from another module) using our builder or Mailchimp editor. If you want to combine lines with text block or other blocks, we can create line as a separate module for you and you will be able to put a text block between the 2 modules with line. There are also some basic modules at the bottom of the ‘Add Module’ menu http://prntscr.com/qrglli that you can use if you need to add just button, image or text block before/after more complex blocks.

Thank you for your response. Do I work on adding my content in the demo and then I will be able to purchase it and extract all the content that’s in the demo and add to mailchimp? Or should I be buying the template first and then working on it in Mailchimp?

If you already created something before purchasing, you can save it as .temp file by clicking the ‘Save Template’. That file you won’t be able to use anywhere except our builder, it’s encoded. When you purchase the template, you will get the key that gives you access to export your template in HTML format. After entering the key, you can upload your .temp file, make changes if you need and export it in html format.

Regarding Mailchimp. If you plan to work on the template in our builder, you won’t need to use Mailchimp editor. After creating the template in our builder, you can export it as a plain HTML file, upload it into Mailchimp and send your campaign. Mailchimp editor for custom coded templates are very limited. It’s not the drag&drop editor that you can see when editing the built-in mailchimp layouts or themes. That’s why we don’t recommend exporting and using the editable mailchimp versions of the template.
