for Design Quality

I'm just balancing out my last review. Yes, they did get in touch, although I'm still a bit surprised that the support center seems comprised of forums and no direct contact for support, so I sent a direct email instead. With coding issues and the like, it's important to speak to a person.

I just want to say the design is gorgeous, and overall the theme has been a joy to work with — that's why I am rounding out my review with another. I hope to hear from you via e-mail in regards to my Mac Chrome issues with the theme.

for Code Quality

Yesterday I found a problem of a 'Item Directory Duplicate Name Scenario' with this theme which I've be using for three years, this is just a short abstract of what I wrote: " Dear Support Team, First I would to say that I love this theme. I've using it for three years, mainly because of the destination plug-in in my website: http://visitaeloro.com/. I really appreciate when you include the option for personalize the Directory Item Base, but I found one problem recently: when you have the same business name (Directory Item) in different destinations., you will face a duplicate URL of Directory Item scenario."

I wrote to the Author in comments section, for this missing feature; and after an incredible short and no useful answer, which requires that I renew a support that is almost as expensive as the theme, I decided to try of modifying the destination plug-in files (that comes included in this theme) by my self.
Is the first time that I check the code of this theme and their plug-ins and I realize today that the PHP code lacks of any kind of comments or documentation (in the code, or external about this plug-in) : all the files of this specific plug-in don't have any useful comments or function comments: I have been working with this files: settings.php directory.php and destinations.php and all of them lacks of any kind of documentation.
I really start to think in migrate my site to other Theme, because this poor documented code, that makes you invest a lot of more time, modifying a simple thing; at least is my perception as Java Senior Software Developer.

Loading a site with this template is very slow (real 0m1.772s). It is not good!

Followed documentation and installed the template easily without any problems including xml demo contents file.

Very impressed with the thought that as gone into designing the site.

for Customer Support

Despite of the theme's simplicity, it provides the essentials of the theme's purpose: it's easy to configure, it's clean and slick, and it comes with the best features among themes focused on tourism-related content. The authors are always willing to help. My only note: I wish the theme was more oftenly updated with new features and improvements. Nevertheless - highly recommended :-)

Nice theme, with a few bugs that were solved through customer support.

Customer Support to me was less sympathetic and made me feel like I was a whiner.

We always appreciated your attention to detail. Personally I highly value customers like yourself that take the time to report problems. There were easily dozens of small and hard to simulate issues you were able to find that no one else ever discovered. To this day you are the only person over the years to alert us to many of the things you found and that's a great thing because each one of those issues we fixed and improved based on your feedback made the product better.

If anyone ever made you feel like a whiner, I apologize for that. It is never our intention to make a customer feel bad and if it was happening, whether we knew it or not, that's not good. I'll be reviewing your posts to see how we can improve our responses to make sure no other customer feels this way.

Even if you didn't know it, behind the scenes you were considered a quality control and testing superstar!
