Hi! When I upload my project files to the hosting and I try to access a page, I need to refresh the page in order to see the map, I mean, the page is not showing the map at first time. Do you know why?

Since a couple of days I can no longer make changes to the main map. By that I mean that I can make a change in the GUI (like delete a KML), and hit Apply, but then the page loads a little while but comes back without the changes applied, and no error message whatsoever (nothing on the page itself or in the JS console). Is this a known issue?? Did some update break something??
Saw that the theme was updated December 1st. Where can I find the change logs?

it shows update even if you change item images, and we had Black Friday / Cyber Monday promo, so had some banners we had to remove. There was no real update of theme

Well bought the theme downloaded and all that is in the .zip file was the licence and one graphic? Could I please get what I paid for? The file size is only 206kb
Installed it through envato plugin but would like to be able to download it also!

Yep did that still only downloads a file that is 206kb big I think you need to check your file mate.
If you choose all files it is only a 206kb file if you choose just WordPress file then you get the correct file.
Also getting this error “Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/customer/www/**/public_html/wp-content/plugins/travellerpress/public/class-travellerpress.php on line 664 “

No we don’t have anything built-in for that, but I’m pretty sure you can handle that with some plugin

I´ve bought this item a year ago, but I want to clarify two things with You.
1) Why is so big difference in loading time between mobile version and desktop version? I mean I compared loading times with pageinsight by google. Can YOu support on the topic how to decrese loading times on this theme?
2) Are You planning to implement also opensource maps into the theme to choose if to Use google maps or open source?

Hi! If I add video in post, then map of this post is loading after video is loaded and top of post can be empty for a while. Is that somehow can be fixed? Thank you!

Map is loaded from Google API so there’s no way to speed it up
I mean that if I add video to post, then map is loaded slowly, but if there is no video then map is loaded fast. It is not a problem of a map, it just loaded after video. Can it be loaded first, then a post data?
I don’t know why it happens but I also don’t see a way of controlling that as it’s all loaded from 3rd party services

This requires a google cloud API key + billing account for google to charge you for usage against the maps javascript API. This is very disappointing and not the fault of the theme developer but a bust when it comes to using the key functionality of mapping that’s provided by buying this theme. Found this out the hard way… not going to leave myself open to being charged by google for a personal blog by using the maps API.
Next best option I’ve seen is embedding a google “my maps” which is a personal map you create. You can at least import the kml route gps track onto the map and then create an embedded link to share to public.
Hoping I’m wrong here but seems like I just wasted $59 on buying this and getting surprised by the newer google maps api policy. Bummer…

that’s true that Google Maps is paid service now but they give you 200$ free credit monthly for API usage, which for just the API calls used in maps is a lot for an average blog (the most “expensive” call are geocoding but that is only used when you add a marker to map). And if your blog is successful I’m sure you can cover that with revenue generated from ads We’ve never run this limit having the same API key for all our themes (and we used maps on Travelmatic, WPVoyager, WorkScout, Findeo and that generates quite big traffic.
So you didn’t waste it, I’m sure you can use it
I’m giving it a shot again but looks like the google credit is $300 for the first year now only? There does seem to be some free usage but I’ll need to dig into that more. Doesn’t seem to bill unless you authorize it to do so, even if you’ve provided the billing account info on setup.
Playing around with the kml file but it doesn’t seem to like that and have to use the kmz (zipped kml file) extension instead. Was getting file upload failures due to security that seems to be a wordpress mime issue. Had to put in a switch into the wp-config.php “define( ‘ALLOW_UNFILTERED_UPLOADS’, true );” to allow all upload types in the short term (security issue). Would be nice to have some type of document on how to add the required mime types that this theme supports for the kml/kmz uploads to work as needed.
Can I use elementor as an editor for this theme?
Is there a way to disable the “drag pegman into the map for streetview” functionality? My understanding is that’s an additional cost for the google API services.

regarding kml upload it should work, theme adds this to the allowed mimetypes but sometimes there additional server settings that prevent it. You can also try with this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-add-mime-types/
You are right about streetView, I can disable that on your site as I’d need to modify it in few files, so please send me admin access via Support Tab.
This theme doesn’t have any special support for any page builder, but you can of course use elementor

Can the same thing be accomplished with google my maps with an embedded URL shared to public or is there a difference in the functionality? I’m just wondering if there might be a less risky way to solve for kml/kmz maps as a iframe via google my maps vs. using the google javascript API.
We don’t have option to use embedded maps, I mean you can use them in post content, that will work, but you can’t use them the same way as we use global map of all posts and single post maps that are full width and have custom markers with infoboxes.
In your Google Billing account you can set alerts and be notified if you’re close to the free limit and just turn it off. For 15k views monthly we have less than 50$ used from that free credit

Also, I want to know how to have a contact form with the demo style, when i create a contact form and use the shortcode for insert into a page, i see a different style.

Travelmatic is generally full width theme, but you can change the background of the main wrapper (although it won’t look good and you’d have to make fixes for many smaller elements that also have white background)

Be great if there was a StreetView feature, where you can load up the page with streetview already loaded point at x,y,z position.

The google maps in frontend and backend is different. The color of the maps has changed. How can I fix this?

Hi, Google gives free $200 monthly credit and you will need huge traffic on your website to exceed that limit. We have OSM in plans though but can’t tell when we will release it.
