Hi there, I’m considering buying the theme but would like to remove BA Booking plugin and use another plugin instead.
Is it possible and how technical or challenging will it be for a non developer to do so?
We use the BA Booking plugin for all functions related to booking. In case you do not use this plugin, all related functions will not be available and you will have to completely customize it if you want to use another plugin instead.

We do not install email sending functionality on the demo. On the actual customer site, SMTP email needs to be installed to be able to receive emails from the website

So, my issue is that you are selling and advertising a booking theme, but there is no way to collect payment. I have to then pay another $50 + $90 to allow payments and manage bookings? Is that correct? Then why is this advertised a booking theme.
It is not.
This is a tour booking theme, including tour introduction and booking permission. Customers can choose to pay later or pay online when booking. However, BA Booking plugin does not provide free payment gateways, customers have to pay additional fees to use these payment gateways.

We have many customers who have used this theme and most of them choose to pay later or convert to the contact form to make reservations.
Depending on the purpose of using the theme, you may or may not need an online payment gateway, do you understand?
Yes. It should include the gateway. Why choose to do a contact form and then all the administrative work afterwards instead of just allowing them to book and pay? Also, they have to pay for the other software to manage the bookings or see them on the backend.
Otherwise, use a product that allows GPL in your theme.

if i want to use the external link, the external link button will go on individual listing or all will have a same external link button?
You will have to further customize the custom external link field, then customize the code to add external links to single pages and widgets

I don’t understand what you mean, but according to Envato’s regulations, each domain website must use a different purchase code. You will not be able to buy 1 purchase code and then use it for many different customers.
