Thanks internq7 for adding Visual Composer to the theme. This will definately be a deal breaker. Hopefully foryou sales continue to climb.
Glad you like it, thanks
Adding Visual Composer to this solid theme makes it even better. I am going to have a field day remaking some pages! Good work!
Thank you Geekcheck, glad you like it
Is it possible to have social icons inline with the nav menu?
RIGHT: Social Icons
yes, it’s possible but because it’s not the natural position of the social icons it will have to be done with some custom CSS, I think we have a thread in the support forum already explaining how to do that.
Andon you showed your awesomeness again! Thanks for adding visual composer to an already outstanding theme!
Glad you like it manningstinson, thanks
Hi, I have already purchased the theme and it is very nice. Just need to ask you how to replace the list icons with my own icons? Thank you.
Thank you for choosing the “U-Design” theme and I’m glad you like it!
Please post any support related questions to the theme’s support forum.
In my effort to provide you with better support I’ve setup an independent Forum where all comments are searchable, you can upload images and insert code with code-highlighting, etc.
You can subscribe to the Support Forum HERE.
I am trying to register on the suppport forum but it keeps on saying “invalid Envato Username”
how do i created a boxed layout like the shop demo? do you have demo content for the shop?
Thank you for choosing the “U-Design” theme!
Please email me and I’ll help you setup your account. You can send me an email through my Profile page.
Judging from the showcase, this theme is really customizable. However, I’m not sure how realistic is that for someone without extended programming and CSS skills? How much is it possible to change with just admin panel interface? And to what customization extent do you offer free support?
you can do a fair bit of customization just with the theme’s default options. The theme will allow you to assign background images for example but you’ll still have to come up with those images’ designs, I think that’s where creativity and skill comes in handy. Our free support doesn’t cover custom work or customizations, however if you have questions regarding that we could certainly give you tips and point you in the right direction
I am doing some work on a clients site that is using your U-Design theme. They were running wordpress 3.6. I have updated it to 3.8.1.
They are currently using U-Design 2.0.0.
I would have liked to update to the latest version so that we can use the flat buttons that were released with 2.3.1.
Do you recommend that people should update their theme when there is a new release?
If so why?
The developer has advised me that we shouldn’t update the theme due to customisations that were made.
In your opinion should the developer had used a child theme so that updates to the theme would have been easier?
Thanks for your help,
in general you don’t need to update unless there are features in the new release that you’re interested to have or if this is a security update, so check the changelog and see if you need to update
To your other question about customizations, yes, it’s a great idea to use a child theme where you can because then your changes will be safe with future updates.
Just a simple questions, may be I asked before but don’t remember, does this theme supports unlimited sidebars?
Quick pre purchase question. Can I tweak the layout regarding colours and such on a sandbox site and export and import the settings to a live site using this theme?
thank you for your interest.
There is no import/export feature specifically for the colors, however I would recommend to open both options pages side by side in your browser and do a quick copy/paste of those color hex codes from one to the other, it should take you no more than 2-3 minutes to do that
Oki, thanks for the info, another question that is not all political correct what are the pros with your theme compared to the “top selling Avada” theme?
Each theme is different and has something unique to offer. I don’t know and follow other themes in general. My suggestion to people is always to choose a theme according to their needs.Let me know if you need any specific info about my theme, and feel free to email me directly.
You can send me an email through my Profile page.
hello i have 3 websites http://www.veerz.com/ and http://www.zukdo.com/ and http://www.mousebux.com/ if i buy this theme i will can use for the 3 sites or i need to buy 3 times? Thanks – Very nice job ! Waiting your reply…
thank you for considering the “U-Design” theme for your projects.
According to the ThemeForest.net License you need to purchase separate licenses for each new site/domain you’d like to use the theme for: http://themeforest.net/licenses
I have purchased this theme already. Is there a way to change the color of the responsive menu from the default black color to a custom color.
Thank you for choosing the “U-Design” theme!
for my project I need self-defined database fields.
Is this theme compatible with “Types” and “Views”?
I’m not familiar with this WordPress tool, is this a plugin or? Anyhow, it’s possible that it works well with the theme but I cannot confirm that as I’ve never tested it.
Does your theme have filtering capability in Blog like in Portfolio?
yes, actually WordPress Archive pages are exactly that, filtering based on categories and tags, date, etc. In the Portfolio I’ve added the category and tag filtering but like I said those are built-in default behaviour in all WordPress blogs.
Love the theme. You list that there is Woocommerce integration. Each time I see something mentioned on your demo, it opens a new window to a tea company sample. I was wondering why that instead of directly in your sample site? Is WooCommerce truly integrated? Could I have the exact layout of your current demo with the cart icons, etc. without a programmer being involved?
yes, the theme provides full integration with WooCommerce plugin (please refer to the theme’s documentation for more on that). In the demo I redirect to another WordPress instance because that’s how I’ve decided to set it up. I put together a different WordPress site with my theme and WooCommerce to feature the integration. If you noticed the look and feel and content are different too
If you would like to setup your WooCommerce enabled site with similar look and feel as my demo “TeaTime” I have provided instructions necessary to do that in the theme’s support forum. Please post your request there and we’ll give you further instructions. You can subscribe to the Support Forum HERE.
Thanks for the quick reply
Is it possible to put a custom banner image below the menu, and above the page title for the internal pages, something thats replacable through the cms? New to Wordpress here.
I downloaded U-design theme. When I try to download WooCommerce, it tells me it is already downloaded, but I don’t have it.
