Yes you can, you just need to choose another demo file and reimport demo data one more time.
Can I see the submenu on over the main menu and not on clicking on the main menu?

Usually in all sites when your mouse is over one of the the main menu item the submenu opens. In your demo and all The4 themes you need to click on the one of the menu item to reveal the submenu.
The theme supports open submenu on hover of main menu. This applies for desktop devices. Thank you!

The hover effect is available by default. May i know which browser and device are you using please?

The eCommerce header is broken and the dev does not know how to fix it. It has been 4 days and they still can not fix the issue. Theme not ready for public usage and guides not up to date. I would wait on this theme till a couple of revisions are out.
