Hello, bought the vital theme some days ago and i have a problem, the visual composer is not working, when ever i try to use it to edit a page, its all grayed out, do I have to purchase the visual composer plugin separately?

Hi,

No, you do not have to purchase bundled plugins separately, all they are included with your theme. Please see more: http://mnkythemedemos.com/documentation/vital/plugins-license/

Regarding the issue, please check if the conflict is not caused by a third party plugin you may have installed. Disable all plugins and see if it works.

Thanks!

Hi, great theme. Are you using any custom sidebar plugin on the demo? I was wondering because on the “Medical Services” page it shows different widgets than on the “Doctor Profile” page for example – on the left side. Thank you!

Hi,

Yes, you are correct, we use: https://wordpress.org/plugins/dynamic-widgets/

Thanks!

Great! and is there an area to input custom code such as Google Analytics?

Hi,

As themes are not allowed to include fields for adding analytics code, you should use a plugin for that, you can read more about them here: http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-install-google-analytics-in-wordpress/

Thanks!

Hello, I can’t seem to get the overlay header to work. I put it all in place but the main header keeps appearing and the header space is still there? Any tutorials i can watch or read on how to make it work?Just average at using wordpress

Hi,

It is quite simple, you just need to choose it in Page Options. This has to be a standard page (not blog/category/archive page).

Thank you!

Yeah, I have selected it from the page options, the issue i have is that the header menu still displays at the top. This is the link to the website, maybe when you see it, you will understand what i mean. http://www.novomedpharma.com/ just highlight the white space at the top right, thanks.

You should choose page template without vertical paddings, that will fix it.

Thanks!

Regarding sidebars, you should choose post template when editing the post in post attributes (usually located on the right column below publish tab). You can also use bulk edit option to change it for all or selected posts.

Hi, do you use a plugin to manage the ‘team’ section in your demo site? Or would you create individual pages for each team member? Thank you!

Hi,

No, there is no plugin used and yes each person is a separate page.

Thanks!

Thanks for confirming

Hi,

You have a great looking theme but I have a few questions before I purchase:

1) Does your theme allow the taking of payments where someone is looking to settle an invoice (I don’t want to sell products but just provide clients to settle their outstanding balance)?

2) Do you have any elements that allow Twitter feeds to be displayed either on the right / left of the main body of a page or in the footer?

3) Is your theme SEO friendly? What features does it have that support SEO?

4) Is it easy to add an EU cookie directive to the theme?

5) Does your theme have a built in search? If so, is it possible to return pages and documents that are ranked by relevance and also page popularity?

6) Does your theme have mega menu options?

7) Can you customise the error page of the theme?

8) Is your site Google Analytics friendly?

9) Can I set up a directory of attachments that can be search easily? The directory will hold attachments useful to clients. I will also need to set expiry dates to those attachments.

10) Can you set up areas of the website that are only accessible by certain roles (that would need to log in to access their area)? I need separate areas for different types of roles and also a means by which the special members can communicate with each other (possibly via a private forum) or other solution.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Abbas

Hi,

1. Such functionality is not a theme related, it is achieved by plugins. Theme in its essence is a design and visual elements.

2. Just use a plugin and display feeds in any of the areas you want :)

3. Yes, theme is built according to the recommended seo practices. To use things like keywords, descriptions etc., you should always use a good seo plugin. It is not a theme field.

4. Easy to do with a plugin.

6. Yes, just check out the first demo.

7. Not within option, but of course you can customize it with custom css or code changes.

8. Yes, you can use any plugin to set it up or just follow isntructions buy google to insert it.

9. Not, it does not have directory theme functionality. There are specialized themes for this.

10. Role management is available in many plugins, but WordPress by default does not have much of it integrated.

To sum it up, most of your questions are not related to theme itself, such functions are left to plugins, and themes are not even allowed to include these per latest WordPress theme requirements.

Thank you!
