you have to purchase a licence of plugin visual composer because you can t update it and your website with this theme can be hacked easily with old versions of plugins.

Bundled plugins will be updated with each theme update, and this is normal and according to theme forest rules, and they covered this in following Envato article https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/213762463-Bundled-Plugins?_ga=2.245886596.1068361229.1494855372-1438803025.1429707923 . So, this isn't really something according to which you should base your rating especially because Visual Composer 5.1.1 don't have vulnerabilities. If importing VC plugin is really important for you simply contact our support over support forum https://edge.ticksy.com or over email support@edge-themes.com and provide WordPress and FTP admin access and they will update plugin for you.

I was really excited to use this theme for a client's site. Since the design quality and plugin integration seemed good, I'd hoped customization would be, as well. So far, customization has been a nightmare. I'm not sure if this is the fault of the Edge Customizer or something with Visual Composer, but I've found the experience of customizing - even small things like text and images - to be very poor. After a few weeks of frustration, I've since abandoned the theme altogether (making this purchase a waste of money and time).
