Thanks for taking an interest! First of all, we do recommend all to import the demo on a clean installation. You can for sure import it over your existing content, however then we would recommend you to always make a backup of your existing content as it might happen that your content will get overwritten sometimes.

Also as our demo content is made with page builder and our themes widgets so we cannot guaranty that your previous content is made with the same builder, and you will probably have to adjust your existing content to suit our themes demo content.

You can export the templates but if you are using another theme on your side it will be missing our themes widgets which are the key of the content. So we can suggest you have our theme and its plugins active.

Please note that our developers are constantly working on updates for all our themes. At the moment we don’t have any ETA when new update will come out but since there have not been any significant changes from WP 5.8. to WP 6.0 you can update your WordPress version without any issue.
