I just updated to the 4.0.14 and still not updating WP Bakery? The last update it let me do was to 6.6.0 of WP Bakery, and it says I need to update to 6.8.0 but when I try – it says “Update Not Available.” Same thing with REVO slider. I thought the latest Wiz release this last week would fix that problem? Please advise. Thanks.

Hello, I have 3 Wiz licenses for 3 different websites under 3 different themeforest accounts.They are all running Wiz 3.3 and need to be updated to 4.0.I tried it once, and it did not go well. I looked at the documentation for it, and I still need help. I managed to revert to 3.3 again and everything looks good, thankfully. If I renew my Support for these licenses, will that include you updating my themes to 4.0 with everything including sidebars and widgets in place and looking good?

As we mentioned in documentation version 4 considered to be a brand new theme with improved performance and new features. So it might need some work to upgrade to. With renewing support we will be happy to help you with any problem you face and guide you for solution and for sure if it’s an issue with the theme itself we will fix it. But it’s not included with the support to do it with our own hands. That will be a custom job to do. Hi there i purchased the theme yesterday, and i installed it on hostinger and i chose to work with Elementor Page Builder, however i cant edit any pages i get the grey screen that on the bottom right it says enable Safe mode i do that but still nothing, also i found an article on google to enable page loader i did that too under Elementor -> Settings -> Advanced -> Switched editor loader method. This did not helped either. Can you please help?

Hi there, we have version 3.1.3 of the WIZ theme running on our website and would love to update it to version 4 as the page builder plug-ins have stopped working and the site is near impossible to edit. Can we update directly to version 4, or do we need to updated to the latest version of 3 first?

Hi, I haven’t managed to update anything yet, because I can’t find the update wizard. I have read the wiz 4.0 migration information several times now and have been unable to find the update wizard or the Wiz Addons plugin I was told I would need to install. I’m guessing my only option is to buy a support package to get this sorted.

I got the point, you are still use the old Wiz Theme.
As Wiz 4.00 is a core update I highly recommend you to do the upgrade on a staging environment first them move it to the live website.
You can Update the theme Manually: FTP Method
1. Log into FTP Account using FileZilla or similar program.
2. Go to wp-content/themes directory
3. Move to the theme directory (wiz)
4. Now, download the latest version of theme from https://themeforest.net/downloads
5. If you have downloaded the zip, extract it. Find the theme folder. It generally has style.css file in it.
6. Upload all files in that folder to the directory on FTP we found in step #3 above.

Wiz 4.0.11 is not displaying the featured image any more when using “Leap portfolio” element. Seems to be a bug.

More and more mistakes. At first, the logo became small and no manipulation of it helps. Now after another update, the slider on the home page is gone and I can’t get it back. Darlings, your theme is starting to make life harder, not easier!

I can assure you that there are no mistakes and even if you checked the change-log you will find nothing relevant to the slider, not even a slider revolution update nor anything major in the core that may cause such an issue. hello, after latest update the website logo no longer displayed correctly was my client have a 640×125 logo and now it’s impossible to use…Are you thinking of putting back the same customization possibilities as before? or do you want customers to change the graphic theme? now wiz is much less customizable than before in every aspect, after hours I was able to fix everything after switching to wiz 4.0, and now I have other new problems again, we users cannot be reconfigured every time and you cannot force our customers who have long and non-standard logos to modify them because you want to standardize the graphic layout to all the other existing sites that use only micro logos

Yes I read it, but I think that is not the problem, there is an element that is being called in the system information tab, where the installed plugins are listed. There is a syntax error, which messes up my website. Anyway I appreciate the attempt, I do not want to take advantage of your work, I think I will go to my backup. By the way… I think a new license of your template is better than a few months of support (xD lol)

In your update to 4, I see all these elements have to be updated on sites that have used the theme in the past. This seems to be a bit cumbersome especially if the theme has been used on many sites. Is there a way around this?

- The original Wiz was built. and published 6 years ago. so in v. 4.0 update, we had to rebuild the theme from scratch using the latest technologies and with performance in mind. This came with a price for sure. Some parts of the theme have been built with a completely different strategy which made it impossible to automatically migrate and must be recreated manually. I highly recommend you to upgrade first on a staging environment and use the migrator then access the work needed if you are planning to update. If you want to avoid such effort you can keep using v.3.x and request plugin updates from us using the support ticket system

it would be great if you made just plugin updates available for those who don’t want this huge headache. We are having to practically rebuild all the sites we used your theme on. So I’d suggest since 4.0 is basically a different theme, that you make updates available for those who want to keep v3.x and not have to message each time on support – I’m sure if support has ended, you’ll ask that new support every 6 months be purchased to get the plugin updates.
Keeping the theme without updating to V. 4.x is not recommended at all. it’s outdated and soon will be completely obsolete. So this step must be taken now or very soon anyway and I suppose it should be covered by your customers’ maintenance fees. So sorry but we have no other legal way to offer plugins updates for 3.x users except through our support ticket system.
Hi in Wiz 4.0.2, the portfolio custom post type doesn’t have settings for changing “Portfolio” to different name like “Products” and making custom slugs from “leap-portfolio-project” to something else like “product-type”. Am I missing something or do you have these settings hidden somewhere? Please advise, thanks!
