Missing style sheet error when installing the theme

A common issue that can occur with users new to installing WordPress themes is a "Broken theme and/or stylesheets missing” error message being displayed when trying to upload or activate the theme. This error message does not mean that the theme you have purchased is broken, it simply means it has been uploaded incorrectly. Luckily, there is a very easy fix.

What is the map search criteria ?

The search criteria is over multiple entities:

the search matches business names, tags, business slogan, location and business excerpt, along side the categories and radius, if you chose one from the dropdown and slider.

But note that when we say ‘location’, we don’t mean the actual location on the map, rather the location set for the business from the location dropdown in the edit business page.

So for example, if you go to https://wyzi.net/ , and input:

Mobile & website development, applications, life is too short or wztechno,

you’ll get wztechno in the search results.

Do you have Online Documentation ?

Yes we do, kindly check the following link for more details http://documentation.wyzi.net/ .. The online documentation is always up to date with all new features

The geolocation doesn’t seem to be working ?

Starting with Chrome 50, Chrome no longer supports obtaining the user’s location using the HTML5 Geolocation API from pages delivered by non-secure connections.”

So unless you’re running ssl (https), geolocation won’t be available on google chrome. IE and some other browsers will allow it though.

For more info, refer to this

Business Category drop down not working on business registration

In order to use business categories, you’ll need to create parent-child ones.

Meaning, create a category (let’s say Auto parts), and then create other categories (say car accessories and car engines), and assign the Auto parts category as their parent. Users can’t pic parent categories, but they can choose sub/child categories as their business category. This hierarchy was followed in the theme deign so it would make it easier to classify businesses, and filter through them.

Please refer to the Documentation for more info

Is there a child theme option?

Yes of course, Child theme is included inside Wyzi.

Incase you want to build it your self, here you can find an article in documentation that we wrote to help you create child theme.

It is really simple :)

Do I need API Key or Purchase code for Premium Plugins included in Wyzi ?

No you do not need to.

There’s no need to enter a key for Visual Composer or any other premium plugin.

We license them for all our theme users as we already bought extended license for each of premium plugins. No need to worry about license.

It should work perfectly, though the notification is annoying admittedly.

Whenever there is a new update for theme we always include the latest version of all Premium plugins.

Do you support open street (OpenStreetMap) ? Will you ever ?

Wyzi Theme only supports Google maps, as Google Maps has better usage coverage in more websites categories. Including Business & Industry, Shopping, Arts & Entertainment, Travel and 242 other categories.

OpenStreetMap hasn’t got a lead over Google Maps in any websites category.

Moreover, Google Maps support almost all browsers, in contrast for Open Street Maps, where many reported issues in older browsers.

Google Maps Maximum Zoon is 22, while Open Street Maps Maximum Zoom is 19.

Google Maps offers 3D Mode, Direction Service, Reverse Direction Service, Bicycle Directions, Contact Integration, Live Traffic Information, Turn-by-turn navigation, while Open Street Maps, only offer those features using 3rd Party Services.

As for Geography, Google Maps is leading in most countries, including United States, Japan, Germany, United Kingdom and 227 other countries.

Despite its recent growth, OpenStreetMap is still behind Google Maps in all market share segments.

As for current Wyzi position and future plans, Google Maps cannot be replaced with OpenStreetMaps still as Google Maps is still way ahead in most aspects and needs of Wyzi Maps features.

Finally, although Google Maps started charging for Map Services, they give 200$ free credit on the beginning of every month, and unless your website is extremely popular with millions of visitors monthly, you will not pay anything to google maps. In case you reached a point you needed to pay them, then your website is so popular and it is for sure by then your least concern will be such a small payment for all Google Services.

For example, all Wyzi Demos function on same Google Map ID and we get thousands of visitors daily and the total per month is few dollars, ( within the 200$ free ) so we do not pay anything.

This change Google did ( charging their services ) is just to stop some scammers and not for genuine people who are thinking of doing some good business.

Under the current situation of Maps, we do not plan to switch or support Open Street Maps.
