Missing style sheet error when installing the theme

A common issue that can occur with users new to installing WordPress themes is a "Broken theme and/or stylesheets missing” error message being displayed when trying to upload or activate the theme. This error message does not mean that the theme you have purchased is broken, it simply means it has been uploaded incorrectly. Luckily, there is a very easy fix.


1/ Can I use the XStore theme for multiple websites?
According to ThemeForest license policy https://themeforest.net/licenses/standard you can use 1 license for 1 project (dev and production sites). If you are going to create multiple websites with our theme, you need to purchase one regular license per domain/website.

2/ Do you offer a trial for XStore theme?

We don’t offer a trial version, but we do have a 7 day refund policy, so you can buy with confidence.

3/ How to speed up the site?

4/ How to apply changes to the home page header the same that I have for the whole site?

5/ How can I edit the Footer?
Enable Elementor or WPBakery for the Static Blocks – https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/47-static-blocks , then edit content of the footer static block.
6/ How to translate my site?
Please read about translation of XStore theme and Core plugin here – https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/30-base-theme-translation WooCommerce translation – https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-localization/ Make sure that XStore theme and XStore core plugin translation files placed into wp-content/languages/themes and wp-content/languages/plugins folders, make sure that name of translation files are correct according to our docs. If you face problems with translation, you need to make sure that your translation files are synchronized. Button Sync (Loco Translate plugin http://prntscr.com/glemdq) allows you to synchronize your translation file with updated pot file. It means if we made any changes in template files that may affect translation or we added new string for the translation and you updated theme you need to synchronize your translation with updated files. Only after synchronization, you’ll be able to translate new strings or strings that were changed. 7/ How to enable account registration on my site?
Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts > Customer registration > Enable customer registration on the “My account” page. Read more about settings – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/configuring-woocommerce-settings/#accounts-and-privacy-settings


How to get support for the XStore WooCommerce Theme

What do you need before submitting a support request?

1) Check our Online documentation and Video tutorials for the answer to your questions.

2) Make sure you are running the latest version of XStore theme, XStore core plugin and the latest version of WordPress & WooCommerce. Follow this link.

3) Check if you flushed the caches and CDN if you faced issues after theme update

4) Disable any additional third-party party plugins that do not come bundled with our theme to see if it fixes the issue.

5) If you faced issues with the default WooCommerce/WordPress options then change your WordPress theme to the default Storefront theme and check if it works fine with the default theme.

6) On your WordPress root folder, edit the wp-config.php and set the value of WP-DEBUG to true. Check the error you have.
