You wrote that 6 months ago. I bought your theme back then because you promised new demos would be coming. At that time they told me that politics under Trump was to blame, as well as a move and Corona.

That was 3 years ago, back then they wrote to me that there were new demos and other new things. I don’t know what your definition of soon is.

Trump was voted out and will soon be re-elected and there is not a new demo. I really appreciated their themes, but their promises and refresh rate is terrible. I look after the purchase deeply….

Absolutely, sorry for the delay!

It’s a month later since my post. Could you define “soon” for all of us? Would gladly renew my support if we got some actual updates and transparency. Because from what it looks like, this theme is basically abandoned which is concerning. Always been a big fan of your products, but these last few years have been rough in regards to updates/new features.

I certainly appreciate your patience and continued business over the years.

I want to stress that the theme has not been abandoned. Since you asked for full transparency: Starting about 6 years ago (when I still made regular updates and created new themes), sales started to slow down, and regardless of what I did, I wasn’t able to bring them back up to where they were at my peak. So, unfortunately, starting about a year and a half ago, I realized this would only be a part time income opportunity for me.

With that said, I have begun to update my themes and recently updated Zox News and still plan to update ZoxPress and the others as well. Unfortunately, I don’t have an exact date at the moment, but ZoxPress is next on the list and is my top priority.

Again, I appreciate your patience and understanding and thanks again for your business.

Category layouts are global, but I’m not sure what you mean by your second question. You can assign what posts are on the homepage and customize each section. But category pages will just display posts from that specific category.

Brilliant! I’m glad to read this. I dare to suggest that you include fixes to improve performance and accessibility according to the new Google pagespeed standards.

I’m testing an older version of this theme that I downloaded a while back from Envato Elements and got: 45 for Performance, 82 for Accessibility (with minor .css tweaks), 99 for Recommendations, and 100 for SEO. All this without being an expert, so I guess with a little love and dedication, this theme can be something incredible.

I’m already looking forward to the next update to buy the license and update the old version I’m testing.

The latest version is fully competible with PHP 8.1, so it definitely needs to be updated.

Unfortunately, the plugin author left Themeforest and changed the way that licenses are handled. Unfortunately, there is no way to renew the extended license unless you purchase your own directly from the developer. But I am in the process of trying to find a suitable replacement to include in the theme. In the meantime, you can certainly still continue to use the plugin with the current version.
