I needed help with this theme in April; it is now June, and none of my support emails were answered. I created an account for him (admin access), and he never even logged in. The theme had an issue with the logo not resizing in the header on the sticky header.
The theme has not seen any meaningful updates or been updated in over 7 months.
EVERYTHING is coming soon, which I suppose has a different definition than what it means. Just search "coming soon" or "very soon" on any of their themes for a good laugh.
Between the absolutely horrible support (the worst on this platform) and the lack of meaningful updates (just check the logs) I would highly recommend finding a better theme.
We have switched and will not look back. After supporting this creator for years, I will not be a returning customer.

If you have a specific issue with the theme, I am more than willing to work and resolve it. But what you have said about none of your support messages being answered is completely false. I have updated all support tickets within the past 24 hours and will continue to do so as I have for the past 11 years. If this is a misunderstanding and you responded, but I somehow did not receive your responses, I would ask that you send a message via my profile page so I can make sure we resolve whatever issue you are facing.
As for the theme updates, is there something specific you are looking for? The theme works as advertised, and any issues customers face in setting the theme up are always addressed. As of right now, there are no immediate issues with the theme, which is why the theme has not been updated. I do plan on making theme updates, but unfortunately, I am a one-man crew and theme development is now a part-time endeavor for me. That doesn't mean I won't update my themes. It simply means I don't have the time I once did to provide frequent updates. But given that the theme doesn't have any outstanding issues, I'm not sure why this would warrant a 1-star rating. I would ask that you submit a support ticket, reply to your existing one, or send me a message via my profile page so I can resolve whatever issue you are facing and please reconsider changing you review to 5-stars once it is resolved. Thank you.

If anyone is on the fence about buying from MVP, don't! There themes are the best out in the market. They are first class. I have purchased two themes from them and looking to but a third one.
MVP is top class... you won't go wrong with any of their products.

This theme - so far, is the best theme we've ever used. The combination of customizable theme's parts, gives us virtually endless possibilities output.
With only few clicks from its dashboard, it saves our times from heavily modify codes, css or creating php pages from the scratch which we used to do with other themes.

ZOXPress is the best theme I've found for a news type site. Has most of what is needed without having to load many other plugins to do the job. Code is rock solid and have been using it for 6+ months on one site and just getting ready to launch a remake of another site that gets 100k+ visitors a month.

I am honestly going to say this is a very good theme and I hated having to ditch it for another one, that being said, performance and speed are the reasons I am giving it four stars.
The layout is incredible but I needed more than beautiful looks, the theme is amp-ready but that is not enough if most of your views come from mobile devices. The amp version of it has some bugs which haven't been timely patched.
Do I recommend it? Yes, for the most part it is easy to use and will fit many niches but if you are like me and value performance and up-to-date-themes then maybe look somewhere else as I did.

Hi, I certainly appreciate the feedback. I am not currently aware of any AMP bugs, so if you would be able to either send me an email or submit a ticket at the Support Center (https://mvpthemes.zendesk.com), I would be more than happy to look into that for you. As for the performance, I could also offer up some tips to improve that as well. I just recently made some changes via a performance plugin that raised the overall PageSpeed score of the demo by 15 points on both mobile and desktop. And I certainly plan on working to continue to improve that score as much as possible. I hope to be able to earn 5 stars from you at some point in the near future!
