Freelance Editor Joey Medina has worked with clients such as Lionsgate, Clinique, Chevy, Hyundai, Toyota, Lexus, Scion, Mattel, Hasbro, MGA Toys, Playmate Toys, ATARI, IHOP, U.S. Marines, DIRECTV, Under Armour and Krux Trucks. His eight years of editing commercials, trailers, web-focused advertising, and industrial videos have enabled him to reach the ever-expanding advertising landscape. Fast, technical, creative, and professional with clients and the ability to use scripted words, sound bites, natural sound, music, sound effects and graphics to create a story, have made Medina the Editor he is today.
Prior to becoming a Freelance Editor, Medina’s posts consist of: working as a Segment Producer for the action sports site Nirve.com; post-production work on high profile films such as “Enemy of the State” and “Armageddon” while working for Jerry Bruckheimer Productions; Assistant Editor at Red Car with award winning editors; Editor at Solid; and worked his way up from the mailroom to becoming an assistant agent at the Broder Kurland Webb Uffner Agency.
This wide range of post-production experience and his passion for storytelling and technical mastery, allows him to easily explore creative ideas from directors and producers.
