Welcome to MDNW!
MDNW News (December 2014): 2014 has been a wild ride for us! Charlie (ThemeIsland) & I both had newborn twins this year (yes, 4 new babies in the family!) For now, I’m focusing on my non-TF projects. Charlie will be assisting with support here at TF until I’m more available. Until then, we’ll be releasing updates to all of our recent themes to bring them up to the latest standards. We still aren’t offering full customization support as we just don’t have the capacity, but we’ll handle any bug fixes and other basic usage issues.
Brandon & Charlie Jones (MDNW + ThemeIsland)
Make Design, Not War is a creative design team led by Brandon R Jones, former site editor of WPTuts+ & Webdesigntuts+.
Based in sunny Southern California, we’re dedicated to outstanding theme quality, clean & customizable code, and designs that work for a wide range of projects.
Mini Bio: After nearly a decade working for various big-label design studios, Brandon began releasing products here on ThemeForest to bring some of the things that he learned to other designers. Since then, Brandon has served as the founding editor for WPTuts+ and WebdesignTuts+. He also co-authored a book about making Wicked WordPress Themes. He’s also had the privilege of speaking at WordCamp LA, SXSW Interactive, and the Front End Design Conference.
Professional Grade Customer SupportEach product comes with it’s own set of comprehensive PDF instructions; complete with images, screenshots, and videos… if that doesn’t help with your situation, we’ve got a team (including the theme authors themselves) ready to answer theme-setup and usage questions here:
Note that as of August 2013, we’re no longer supporting products over 6 months old. We’ve basically deemed that products older than this are officially “stable” and ready for mass usage without us needing to babysit. We’ll also keep all support forum tickets open after that period so that you can search them for as long as you want.
