I love the Razor theme, but it’s been a nightmare getting it to install correctly. I kept getting the error: “file exceeded the upload file size directive in php.ini”. There is a php.ini file in my root, but raising the “upload_max_filesize” setting didn’t help. What did fix the problem was contacting my web host tech support and asking them to change my php.ini file. Loading the theme manually by ftp caused the demo pages to appear blank and the page paths were all irrelevant.
The current problem I’m having is with the Buddypress installation. All goes well until I finish the install wizard and get the error:
Server Error: The website encountered an error while retrieving http://hovertech.com/wp/wp-admin/. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.
