ProUI is an abstract generic template, so you shouldn’t have any issues using it along with any third party JS or PHP framework!

Hi pixelcave, i just bought you themes, and have some problem while using glyphicon in Ruby on Rails. The icon didn’t appear as it must. as example, didnt appear as user icon, but appear as something like diamond icon. I wonder how to use it on Rails.

Hi, Interactive Block seems to bug. When i press the fullscreen button or toggle button they still showed as active some seconds (Chrome).
I also want to know where i can configure the data visibility when using toggle button. In your example the data are visible then hidden when we press the button. I want to hide them first. Then if the user press the toggle button the hidden data appear. I also want to do the exact same thing when pressing the fullscreen button. (not full screen > hidden, fullscreen > shown)
Is there a way do to this ?
PS : i tried to add the hidden class but it doesn’t work as i want.

The buttons seem to remain active due to the :focus styles! You can blur the buttons by adding .blur() in js/app.js – interactiveBlocks() – lines 458 & 471:
$(this).toggleClass('active').blur();
To make a block’s content hidden by default, you can add the class ‘display-none’ in .block-content and the class ‘active’ in block’s content toggle link.
In the same way, for a fullscreen block by default, you can add the class ‘block-fullscreen’ in your .block and the class ‘active’ in block’s fullscreen toggle link.

Hi Datatables seem to be missing the loading panel. This is noticeable when using axaj requests… you just see the words “Processing…” on the top left.

To change it and add a loading indicator, you can use the ‘language.processing’ option (it accepts HTML code) https://datatables.net/reference/option/language.processing

Yes, of course, in the package you will find an HTML version which you can use with any other language you prefer. In the PHP version there is a main menu auto creation function, a configuration file where you can update various template’s options with variables and simple templating to help you get started

Hi Alex! Unfortunately there isn’t an easy way to disable responsive features and various custom changes to CSS and HTML markup would be required. Furthermore, the sidebar needs to be visible in small screens because there wouldn’t be enough space for the main content.
If you are interested in completely disabling responsiveness, a good starting point would be the official Bootstrap page at http://getbootstrap.com/getting-started/#disable-responsive

i have a strange behaviour in google chrome on OSX Yosemite. The page needs very much cpu performance. The Task GoogleChromeHelper takes about 80% of the CPU ressources. That only happens on Chrome and when i browse this theme… On safari everything is fine – but when i use chrome my macbook pro nearly goes down…

That’s indeed a strange behaviour! Do you experience this issue on template’s live preview/default setup (from the downloaded package) or there are custom code additions to it? Do you run it form a web server or from the file system? Have you tried deactivating Chrome plugins or browsing from a clean Chrome profile? Which Chrome version do you use? Is it the latest?
Please have a look and let me know! Such issues are usually resolved soon with Chrome updates or by deactivating a third party plugin
I checked it again. The behaviour is also on your hosted backend-demo. I tried it with my chrome extensions enabled and disabled – no difference. I tested it on 2 machines (macbook pro and mac pro) – both with the same result. Latest Chrome on OSX 10.10.3. In Chrome the CPU usage ist more than 70% – in Safari only about 15%! That’s really weird.
I just had a further look into it and unfortunately I couldn’t replicate similar behaviour using ProUI. Everything seems to respond normally as usual.
There might be a bug/conflict in Chrome’s setup that causes it which hopefully will be resolved soon with an update. In many articles is also suggested resetting Chrome’s profile or clean re-installation to solve similar issues

hi. i purchased this theme and customizing it for my Hybrid Mobile App.

1. The left collapsible side bar is not working / responding 2. The screen is not showing 100%. it is showing very limited content. say top 20-30% of my whole page content

Would it be possible to have X-edit enabled on this theme, so we can update database info by clicking on the editable elements? Hey—love this template. But I’m trying to customize it and running into a problem. When I remove items from the left sidebar in index.html, they are removed when I’m on ‘Dashboard’ but when I click other items, they show up again. Is there a master file that controls all of those items or something? A bit confused.

In the HTML version, pages are static and sidebar’s main menu has to be replicated in each .html page. Changing main menu in index.html, updates it only in this page.
You will have to update the menu in each .html page or even better (depending on the server side language you are using) you can put your menu in a file and dynamically add it in all your pages (in a way that works best for your project). In the PHP version of ProUI, main menu works in a similar way and it only has to be updated from one file!

With basic HTML/CSS knowledge, you should be able to easily create your own pages based on your requirements! There is an in-depth documentation and inline comments to assist you with the task but any backend coding (database connections, admin protected areas etc) must be done on your own or by a web developer by coding it directly. ProUI is an abstract template, so there isn’t any specific tutorials for coding your own functionality. Any generic tutorial/guide can be applied to the template! Hope that helps
