Great theme. I love editing it and the help file is just awesome. Helped me a lot.
Now I came to have some issues though with the contact form.
After setting my email in the config.php I do not get the success message and the loading bars keep on going. Also no message received. The Web site is also on the FTP server.
Any idea what could be wrong?
Just as a guess, is your server running PHP4 ? The form requires PHP5 + If this is not the case, send over a link to the form and I will take a look.
hi, on my contact form even though the ‘name’ field is set to required, it is sending the form without the need to enter a name because ‘Name *’ is already in the field. i noticed it might be the same on your demo too because it is not bringing up an error message for the name field even though i didnt enter anything. it looks like message field is the same too.
is there a fix for this please or am i doing somthing wrong?

That’s the way it works with the plugin to toggle the label on / off when you focus the field. If you don’t like it you can comment out line 142 of js/scripts.js.

Great Theme!! i have some questions, how can i use the portrait pictures whith landscape pictures in a 5 colum gallery? when i try all was wrong, can i center the image in portrait mode to keep the struture right?
what i need to change to use the gallery with all the pics in portrait mode?
The search option works with pics?
do you have the col-cover.png files without the magnifying glass?

If you tell me what height you need your images whilst keeping a width of 172px. I will let you know exactly what CSS changes to make and I will send you the hover image to fit it along with the PSD file – in case you need to make any adjustments.

Do I have to know code to use this or will my WP control panel be the same?
This is not a Wordpress theme it is HTML and CSS . It is easy to set up and make minor changes with not much coding knowledge. However to modify the template further we would recommend some experience.
We are building a WP version if you don’t mind waiting

Beautiful theme, I love it!!
I have integrated this theme into WordPress (I couldn’t wait). However, when it’s in WP, the Serene plugin does not work. The full screen images load, but none of the functions or the images for the controls do. I thought for the images, I had to include the full path, but that didn’t work. Since you guys are currently developing the WP version, I wondered if you’ve run into this problem? Any thoughts?

first i want to say.. i love your template and want to buy it. but i have some questions i try to explain but my english is not very well
1) is there any fix for ie6? in my hp stats i have many visitors which using ie6 :/ is it possible to fix it? in ie6 i have no background-image and the site is complete broken. are you able to add an ie6 css with still an background and a template which is not broken? .. (like in firefox when javascript is disabled)

Hi,
Unfortunately (/fortunately 
) we are not able to support IE6 for this template. You should be able to add a new style sheet as you described and have a crack at it if you want. It will be possible but usually many complications arise.
With a bit of CSS and HTML knowledge you should be able to replace our header and footer with your own, it’s not too hard.

I would like to know how to top align the background scrolling image instead of it being centered. The way it is set up right now, it cuts off the top of my images so i would like for it to be aligned to the top of the page.

This is an amazing template….Really nice work.
Just wanted to ask this : Is it possible to have different background image unique to each page (pic 1 ONLY for Home, pic 2 ONLY for Contact, pic 3 ONLY for About and so on…) ? Can the sliding/rotation function in all the pages (except the galleries) be disabled ? I just want to have the option of sliding / moving to next image only in full screen gallery section.
Is there any documentation about how the script resizes the background images ? Because if I add a 1920×1200 image will it be resized like it happens with smaller (in dimension – 1024×768 px for example) pictures ? I mean does the function chooses which pics will be resized (from certain resolution and up) or just does this for all the background pics it has ?

You can set the backgrounds on a per page basis. The slideshow on/off is a global setting that will affect all pages, however it will not rotate if there is only one image, so if you only have multiple images on your gallery pages it will do what you are looking for. The full screen gallery itself is separate from the background images you can have different images and options in there.
The script will resize all the images to fit centered inside the browser window on all resolutions, large images are scaled down and smaller images are scaled up.

I'm not sure what you mean, it is a HTML / CSS template that you can put into Drupal if you are able to do so, there is no documentation or code included to help you do this though.

I don't think these galleries allow you to do that, you would need to ask the author of the plugin about how to do it. We won't be adding this in future versions only releasing stable updates of these galleries.

Thanks again. I may just scrap the idea. For an idea this is what I basically have working (I only uploaded the index page here), but I was trying to set up a make-shift menu where you can click a button and its text will appear below. (the list of boxes would be hidden and the buttons would reveal the selected box underneath once clicked). I understand this may be asking for too much help and extensive code. I will probably try to use the first links for a solution.

It might be easier to use an existing plugin for this, than to write custom code. There are many jQuery tab plugins available for free such as http://jqueryui.com/demos/tabs/.

Hi – update on forms.
I got the form working, 1&1.co.uk (popular in europe and UK) do use PHP5 , but not as default but use PHP4 – you need to create a ’.htaccess’ file with AddType x-mapp-php5 .php .php4 in it, and it sits in the main website folder with the html….and then it works fine.
