I am not seeing an installation guide or setup guide in the downloadable files. Please direct me to where you are saying there is an installation guide. I am new to website development and I need help with importing or uploading the .php, css and javascript files into Wordpress to make the theme look like the demo. Right now my website isn’t a one page scroll, how do I do that? So many questions!! Please help and thank you!

Hey is there an installation guide to uploading the plugins from the ETHER theme into Wordpress? I have installed and activated the template…but it doesn’t look like the template I purchased..I know I have to upload my own images and text but once I installed the theme, MySite is still mostly blank. is there an installation guide in the folders or somewhere else?

Greetings fellas. First, love the theme. Yours is the theme I have taught myself WordPress. Got a few quick questions: 1. Is there a way to edit/ remove the “Starts From” that appears in a pricing table element? 2. Is there a way to display an image behind an “About Us” group? If can’t seem to figure it out via Visual Composer. 3. Can an About Us item be made clickable to a hyperlink?

i can’t find out anywhere on how to add pages that scroll down when created. i have the option of ONE PAGE website turned on. My menu’s seem to have the letter “M” on it and i don’t know how to erase it.
How do you create pages that scroll down? Please explain.

Hi there. I just purchased and downloaded ether for wordpress but am having a really difficult time. I had some significant issues uploading to wordpress but think I now have the correct ether 1.2 uploaded – and have imported the demo file but what I have looks nothing like what I thought I was purchasing. Hello again. I sent you an email yesterday but have not heard back yet. After having you install the demo, I seem to have no function to edit text or elements in wp or virtual editor front or backend. Can you please provide email response asap please? I have a project I need to finish that I would like to use this theme for.

I am so disappointed and frankly angry. It is now nearly 3 days after I informed you that I had no working editing function i.e. CANNOT EDIT content on the newly purchased theme – and I still have no resolution. 3 days ago you said the issue would be solved in 24 hours. Today I finally heard from you again (after trying to reaching out to you several times) and after having two conversations with your representatives in which I was told that the virtual composer would need to be updated from your end and that you would do that within the hour I still have nothing that has been done. 10 hours later, and the update has not been done and I still have absolutely no ability to edit the demo content from from the front end with only limited options on the backend. Please let me know what if anything is being done to resolve this issue.

Our representative have told you about how to customize it all , you can not edit all the content from visual composer if its displaying the custom post types you need to edit them specifically . Please follow the instructions to edit content .

With all due respect it took several days to even get a response from you. And even with that response, there is still not an ability to edit the content from the front end at all, which you have fully acknowledged and still limitations in editing from the backend in some areas as well – and I am still waiting for resolution. Visual Composer – particularly the front end – is a key element in this theme package and I don’t think it is unreasonable to be frustrated when that function is absent. And again, still awaiting resolution.
Still no ability to use Visual Composer front end. Can you please tell me when this will be resolved?

Great looking template. How hard is this to change for someone with absolutely NO WordPress experience? However I am a graphic artist with extensive knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator if that helps lol.

Hi, I am trying to use your Ether theme, I have loaded up the demo site OK, but I can’t edit any of the demo pages? The WPBakery Composer is not working for me either, so it looks like all I can do is format all the pages by hand. Not very useful. Even getting a full-page slider on the homepage was hard work – I had to use LayerSlider to do it in the end. If I could edit your demo pages that would do the job for me nicely.

No, Ether doesnt support boxed option. Only full width
after updating from 1.0 to 1.2 navigation of one pager is not working anymore. any suggestions?

where can i find the demo and documentation as its not in the zip file purchased
Demo files and documentation is in main file directory. Go to your downloads and press download. There you will download complete download files instead of wordpress theme. You will find wordpress theme inside it too.
About us, services etc do not seem to link to a page as my content is more that the space provided. How do I achieve this?
Also, when I insert a link into any page with href, I can’t see the link.
I would also like to include foorter pages for things like privacy statement etc

I’m having several issues with this theme.
• Any links I put on the ‘one page’ are disabled… • When I set a background image or try to choose ‘grey background’ nothing changes for that page/panel unless I use a blog/team/service/funfact section—but not just regular content • Services don’t link to their full descriptions, and if I try to link to them from the editor I get this error: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /nfs/c06/h08/mnt/89606/domains/MYWEBSITE.com/html/wp-content/themes/ether/single.php on line 6 • Linking to a separate page shows the author, comments, etc instead of just the content. I have to create a custom single page just to show the content nicely.
There are a few more issues, but these are most important at this point. Any idea how to fix them?
