Great theme But I’m having a really hard time trying to understand why detailed documentation wasn’t included on how to create a modal light box?
Can you explain in great detail how one can go about creating a modal light box with a video inside?
Thank you,
C.E.

hi. thanks for this great theme.
in the woocommerce settings, i set the Shop Page Display to display the categories and subcategories, but when i am on the shop page, it only displays all the products mixed up instead of the categories. the categories do exist, because they show up on the sidebar menu. i have upgraded to the latest version of woocommerce and the problem still exists. i have already asked the woocommerce supprt. they say it has to do with the theme.
please help me solve this asap.
thanks
Hi there,
Thanks for your kind words about the theme!
Regarding your problem – I have just checked on our testing installation, and the categories are displayed as intended.
Please double check your WooCommerce settings and if the problem persists, please submit a ticket on our Support Forum and provide a link to your shop page, as well as your website login credentials.

Hi, I have a UAT site setup, and when I went to put this live, it removed all of the theme options when I copied all the data… Just curious where can I get those theme options / widget data from that I setup? Thanks.
Hi there,
In general it’s better to use a plugin like “Duplicator” to move the whole site all together. However, if you want to migrate widgets separately, you can use a plugin like “Widget Importer & Exporter”. For Theme Options – go to functions.php and comment out the following line:
add_filter( 'ot_show_pages', '__return_false' );
On your dashboard you will then see an “OptionTree” menu item. Use that page to export and import your Theme Options.

Hi, i have some problem with portfolio. I cannot activate visual composer in wordpress 4.4.2. Can you help me with this problem. “Enable page builder for porfolio in Settings/Visual Composer” doesent exist. Thx.
Hi there,
If I understand you correctly, the option must be there. Maybe you are just looking in a wrong place, since VC’s settings changed their look a bit after the last updates.
If no luck, please submit a ticket on our Support Forum.

is it possible to remove the inline css generated by dynamic-styles.php and add it to the main css file? I don’t want to have inline CSS
Hi there,
If this is a feature request – thanks for sharing your idea with us! No promises, but we might consider moving inline CSS to a separate CSS file.
If you ask if it’s technically possible – it kind of is, but you would rather need to generate a separate css file containing dynamic styles and then load it separately. Or you can delete the contents of dynamic-styles.php and add the CSS it generates to the end of the main stylesheet.

Hi Collars,
Would you mind sharing where did you get those photos? I really like the quality.
Best, Chris
Hi and thanks for your interest =)
Images used in sliders were taken from Shutterstock and Istockphoto, if I’m not mistaken. The rest was mostly taken from free photo stocks (there were many).

Thanks a lot, I really like the theme, but getting it on a level like dispayed in demo takes quite a bit effort
We really appreciate your kind words!
It usually takes some time to get acquainted with what a theme can do. Once it’s done, the workflow becomes faster. The rest is mostly design and good choice of elements. We almost never used any CSS customizations in our demo preview, so it’s all possible to achieve with the instruments that the theme provides
this them is suitable for my lyrics website ?
Hi there and thanks for your interest!
We would not like to take responsibility for such a decision =) Since you have much better understanding of what your website should look like and what features it requires from a theme, it’s always better for your, our fellow potential customer, to make this decision yourself.
Please explore the demo preview and see if the theme meets your requirements. You are however welcome to ask specific questions regarding the theme features.
Kind regards,
TheWhiteCollars
I upgraded to 1.6.4 and Visual Composer to 4.10, but now Visual Composer doesn’t work properly. I can’t edit, delete or change the row columns for example.
Please make sure you updated TWC Theme Extension plugin to version 1.6.4 as well. Afterwards clear the browser cache.
Regards, TheWhiteCollars
Is that the core-extension.zip?
If you update manually – yes.
I am getting – Revolution Slider Error: Record not found. what is the alias ?

What framework is this built upon?
Hi there,
Thanks for your interest!
The theme was not built upon any theme framework. For theme options we used Option Tree.

Hello.. I can’t seem to remember how to have the content start after the menu bar. Like the rev slider is sitting behind the menu header and is not starting right below it like it should. Even when I make another page the content is pushed up right to header. Can you tell me quick how to get the slider and page content to start right below the header like normal? thanks!
Hi!
In page edit mode, there’s a “Padding top” option (scroll down to see it). Just set it equal to your header height. If this doesn’t work for you or you need a more complex solution, please submit a ticket on our Support Forum and provide a link to your page.

hi how can i edit the named (menu) in navigation when it is in mobile view.
Hi there!
To change the “Menu” word, you should navigate to tilt/library/collars.php. On line 167 you will see the following:
wp_localize_script( 'jquery.mmenu-js', 'objectL10n', array('title' => __( 'Menu', 'tilt' )) );
Just change “Menu” to whatever you like

I really love this theme and am almost sold on it, but I have a quick question first. I am wanting to switch to this theme from my current one which has the featured images in the blog set at 1150×550px. The ones in this theme are different dimensions. Will that be a problem? I’m afraid of it stretching the images and distorting them. I really don’t want to resize them all.
Sidenote, one of the big things that sold me on this theme was reading all the comments and reviews about how great the support is. The reason I’m getting rid of my old theme is because the support stinks! Keep up the good work!
Hi there,
Many thanks and glad that you like the theme!
Answering your question – the images in blog are resized the following way. On blog page the images in standard (image) post format, as well as in gallery post format are resized to 800×500px by default. they are not stretched, just cropped. On single post pages standard (image) post format have images of size “large”, and gallery post format still crops images to 800×500px.
Since the images won’t be stretched and your current images are larger, I guess there’s nothing to worry about. If you want to change that 800×500 crop size, we can guide you on what changes you should make to the theme files.
Hope to see you on board!
Regards, TheWhiteCollars
Thanks for the detailed response. I’m sold. Thanks for the beautiful theme!
Great to hear that! Thanks

ive posted a new question as a reply to an older thred, bacause i couldnt open a new thred. sorry about that, hope you can see it. thanks
Sorry for the inconvenience, you ticket has been replied.
I’ve spent good deal of time working on Tilt for a client of mine; the theme itself is quite easy to work with. The theme options really well laid out, allowing me to set up the theme pretty quickly and get it ready to be customized. What stands out for me is on the few occasions I was not able to resolve a problem, the guys at The White Collars where right there with helpful suggestions and solutions. I don’t own a license (..just a freelancer on a project ) but if I did I’d give this theme a 5 star rating and happily recommend it to anyone
Many thanks for your kind words, we really appreciate that!
The eternal doubt to buy this theme…
The last “big” update – version 1.5 – was in augustus. Will there be new versions in the near future?
Thanks in advance!
Hi!
We always carefully listen to our buyers’ suggestions regarding improving the theme, and we consider adding new features if there is demand for them.
There are no major updates in the pipeline right now, but you are welcome to write your suggestions and what features that the theme lacks are those stopping you from buying it.
Thanks!
Enough with the struggle, I bought the theme
If I miss something, you will hear something from me!
Keep up the good work!
Glad to hear that, welcome aboard!

Have a good day!
