i) Remove the unwanted images, plugins, etc.
ii) Optimize all the images that you have used in the theme.
iii) Use some cache plugins like wp super cache.
iv) Get a good hosting server for your website.

1) Since wordpress suggests not to include the seo options in theme. We do not have seo options. You can use most popular seo plugins with our theme.
2) Images used in the demo are not included for download, these images are copyrighted, if you are planning to use the photos we can provide the links to buy license.
3) We do have about 6 sports icons in our theme.

Can you please create a DETAILED video or document on how to get the home page to look similar to the one on your demo site. I have read and re-read all the docs, forums and support site and can find nothing on how to do this. As the page builder does not work on the dummy demo to edit, and the sample pages included with the page builder are not the same layout as the Whistle demo home page, I am spinning my wheels trying to figure this out. The documents that came with this theme are plentiful but very vague in detail.

All you did was load the dummy data into my site. I am only looking to re-create parts of the home page, not every single page you have. None of it can be edited with your page builder! I was hoping I wasn’t going to have to code everything. Is there any documentation on how to create the same look using the page builder so I can easily put in my own images and content and only use the parts I like about the page? Maybe showing modules you used to get the different parts of the page? There is no detailed information on this in any of your docs.

I have a few questions about managing the customers after they register for an event. Is there a section where I can see everyone who has registered, and their information that I have captured – I would like to use the details captured for future use . Also, I am looking to use this for sporting events, so i will need to capture specific customized fields such as age group, level of sport etc. Is this set up for such customization? Hi, I can’t upload theme content, it ends with really quickly displayed internal error with htaccess file, error 500” how I can fix it?

Sometimes upload theme content may fail, it may be one of the following reasons.
Your PHP memory limit, exceution time, upload size may be set too low. Kindly, Check that your server has following limits else contact your hosting support to do so.
1) max_execution_time > 600
2) memory_limit > 128M
3) post_max_size > 32M
4) upload_max_filesize > 32M
If you receive ‘500 Internal Server Error’ then it may be because of any one of following reasons.
i) Your web server may be configured incorrectly (ie configured with incorrect directives). You have to contact your hosting support to resolve this issue.
ii) Your files may be corrupted while uploading it to your web server. Those files may be transferred successfully but it is unusable by server. If it is theme files upload it again and import demo content. If still you receive this error deactivate the plugins one by one to find the cause of error.
Note : You can verify your PHP configuration limits by installing a simple plugin found here. If you still can’t resolve the 500 error, talk with your web hosting support.

1) When I buy the pavilion it will support? I can not have trouble getting help.
2) My shop will be slightly different’ll need to sell credits to enable the purchase. Ex: a person will buy 50 credits and it had been stored in your account on the site and these credits it can buy products, can you help me in this matter after I buy the template?

I have recently purchased the Whistle theme and when I try and create a new page with three items in colums across the screen it always appear underneath each other.
I have used the 1/3 column in the Whistle Page builder but I cant get it to work.
Could you advise if there is a setting or configuration option that I have got set wrong.

Want to purchase this great theme, but got a couple of questions.
Can all google elements be switched off in this theme? Reason, we are located in China and google is blocked. If websites/themes have google elements, website will not load.
Secondly, is the theme multilingual? We want to have the website in 2 languages.

We have used google fonts in our theme web sites, if google is blocked in your country then the google fonts will not work in your site.
Our theme is multilingual. If you are running a multi language site then you need to purchase the WPML plugin and use it.
Note : Our them fully compatible with WPML plugin.

Alright, thanks. So my question was if google fonts can be switched off as in other themes? Or is there a good plugin to take out all google elements?
I found another theme that told me this: “Once you have your theme installed on your WordPress you will have an advanced pinel called ‘Theme Options’ and on theme Options you will have a ‘typography options’ that will let you able to fully customize any font you want, size, style, family, this is an integrated theme part but in China I don’t have sure if it will work in same way but you can disable or enable it with a click-of-a-button so I think you will not have any issue with it. In the case you can’t use it on your Language you will need to use the default fonts. “

Yes, if you switch off the google fonts the standard fonts will be activated. You can use the standard default fonts with our theme. For this standard font will work only with some sections like menu, typography, footer. By default we have used google fonts in many of the sections in theme and those cannot be disabled. we will try to add these options in our future updates.
We will check if there are any plugins to disable google fonts, but cannot guarantee it will work correctly.

Hello, I am looking for a theme to use for a sport club. The club has teams in 4 different sports (basketball, volleyball, ski,rugby). Each sport then has several teams (under12, under14, under16,...) and several sections (like events, section news and galleries,...). Besides being able to divide the website in four sections (one for each sport), each with several pages (news, galleries, standings,...) for each team I also need to manage the people who will be posting on the website and give each of them permission to post only in some specific categories. For example I don’t want the person in charge of updating the standing of the under16 basketball team to be able to post a comment for a match of the under18 team, or of the under16 volleyball team… Does your theme have these kind of features?

I’ve tried the sample layouts but the current home page that I see on your demo is not there. I saw that you posted the shortcodes earlier, but I want to be able to edit the page with the page builder, so can you save the current home page as a sample layout and maybe post the .txt file to put into wp-content/plugins/designthemes-core-features/page-builder/samplelayouts/ so I can be able to import it and edit it from the builder.

The whistle home page was built using the wordpress editor and hence we do not have sample layout option for the home page. If you need we can send you all the shortcodes in that page. Also if you have installed the dummy contents, the home page would have been created already.

Everything is working great for me. Outstanding work on this theme!
Quick question…with the demo content I notice the home page is in Wordpress Editor mode with modules set to off. When I attempt to change it over to the module editor mode it does not populate the modules. I have been editing using the short codes but it would save a great deal of time if I could use the dummy data as a template to add and remove content as I would like. I have tried saving the page out in both modes according to the documentation but it does not work. Will the theme not allow me to switch the demo content from text editor to module editor?

Our page builder works with only newly created pages and not with the dummy pages that are created using the “Import Option”. You can use the sample layouts module, which will build all the home pages, about us page, etc as our demo in page builder. Please have a look.

When I installed the template and import the dummy, I encountered this error: “Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted(tried to allocate 32 bytes) in /home/stageomg/public_html/designthemes-core-features/wordpress-importer/parsers.php on line 156”

when i try to use the short code for blog post on the webpage instead of the gallery short code. [dt_sc_blog_posts excerpt_length=”25” show_meta=”true” limit=”4” categories=”1,2” posts_column=”one-third-column” /] on the HOMEPAGE it will also include a comment section on my homepage which is horrible. Theres a way i can fix it?
I just disabled comments on the homepage itself, sorry for the dumb question.
