Hi, can you please advise how I can make the demo blog style 3 layout? I went to settings>reading>homepage as the front page, then through pages chose the “demo blog style 3” as the template, but the top slider does not appear, only posts. Also the main color font through theme options does not take effect. Thanks

Well… still no answer about my problems… Ticket creation: not possible beceause i get no conformation email. Here in those comments you said, i should mail you via your profile page . So now I try to contact you once more… There are still the same issues while using your theme on my wordpress installation. Issue 1: If i try to edit a page, were I used visual page buidler an inserted some of your smart context boxes, wordpress always tries to edit a page with content of a post. But this page he tries to edit does not exist. Just try to edit the frontpage with the login data I sent to you Issue 2: If I try to copy and paste a link to facebook, it is not possible for facebook to get any metadata from my blog. Issue 3: Contact form 7 does not work - error 404 Issue: The Content of smart Content Boxes is sometimes only shown if i click on the next arrow and back after some seconds…. Looks like this only happens, when it is used in tabs….(Just have a look on my frontpage…) It ist still not possible to contact you via ticket… so conformation mail.

I’m wanting to update my theme but the update plugin tells me the theme is not installed but of course it is… any idea of what is going on ? I know this is not a lot of info but don’t know what else to add.

Hello, I haven’t used this theme in a long time but I wanted to use it again, but I have a problem. There seems to be no ‘hidden’ option to hide the Featured Posts Section of the Categories page. I need to get rid of it because this warning keeps showing:

So it’s either I completely hide the featured posts slider or I figure out how to actually implement the slider without the line of code showing on the page.

Did you install NewsTube-Shortcodes plugin? Otherwise, you can turn it off by checking Theme Options > Front Page > Features Post Layout or edit the page and check the Front Page Header content
Also, make sure you are not using Demo Page Template for that page

There’s nothing on the front page’s header content either. It’s really weird. I don’t have the NewsTube-Shortcodes plugin as I’m not sure where to find it?

I’m not using any demo page at all, that’s the thing. Is there a line of code I can use to remove it like display:none or visibility:hidden? I’m just not sure what element I need to add it to?

First of all, Thanks for the amazing work on this awesome theme! ~ I keep receiving a nag message in WordPress that the theme contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files… When i visit the system status page, it shows that the theme uses older versions of both “woocommerce/cart/cart-shipping.php” & “woocommerce/content-product.php”. Do we know when these or any other outdated WooCommerce template files will be updated?

Hi, I just purchased the theme and I am testing everything out… When someone will submit a video in the front end… It creates a post but there is no featured image set??? Is there a way to pull a shot of the video in that section or have an image set there automatically… it would make things a lot easier… and make sense…

You just need to save the post once again. It will fetch feature image (if it is a video post) like normal

So I tried and nothing appears… Are you saying a video can be added in the front end form… then when approved I resave it and it will pull an image for the featured image??? It is not working.
I added a plugin which works… but please let me know if it is built in as I would rather not have an extra plugin installed if I do not need it…
Ah, my apology. In NewsTube, you will need to install Video Thumbnail plugin (as you may know) to fetch video thumbnails
