Hello, I’m using the element Blog Posts Carousel, but my goal is to have 6 posts displayed in a line and it seems the BPC is limited to 4 posts and then goes into sliding functionality for the remaining posts. Is there some way make this element accommodate 6 posts inline? Or can you suggest another way to have 6 posts displayed this way? Thanks

Hi

The Blog Post Carousel can only be set as Contained or Full Width and the amount of articles are set to 4 in the Contained area. The Full Width version will show 6 or 8 depending on the width of your screen (due to the responsive nature of the element).

If you set the Element to Full Width, also remember to set the Row that contains the Element to “Stretch Row and Content”. This is in the Row Settings popup.

http://heroplugins.com/product/invogue-theme/documentation/?link=blog-posts-carousel

If you need it displayed in any other way, then you will have to add some custom css to the element.

Please let us know if you need help in this regard and one of our support staff will gladly assist you on Monday morning. http://heroplugins.com/product/invogue-theme/documentation/?section=submit_ticket

How do we place our logo in navigation bar

Hi

In your WP backend, browse to Appearance / inVogue Settings / Header. Here you can upload a logo for you navigation bar, sticky menu and mobile menu. Make sure that these are transparent PNGs for the best result.

Kind Regards, Gideon

Thank your and Ive got an other query. How to I select the shopping page with sidebars and how to change options in sidebars

In your WP backend, browse to Appearance / inVogue Settings / WooCommerce and set your Shop Layout With Sidebar.

http://heroplugins.com/product/invogue-theme/documentation/?section=knowledge_base&article=Show-hide-sidebar-in-shop

Once this is done, you can assign widgets to that sidebar. Browse to Appearance / Widgets. On the right hand side you will see a Shop Sidebar Widget. You can now drag WooCommerce items from the left into that widget area.

Please also have a look at our comprehensive documentation section. http://heroplugins.com/product/invogue-theme/documentation/

Please also feel free to ask questions, we’ll gladly answer.

Hello! First of all, excellent job! The theme works perfectly and adapts to the needs of my client.

I need to translate the site into Spanish. How can I do it?

Thank you!

Hi

Thank you for the compliment!

We are currently busy making the site WPML ready and can then be translated to any language. This will take a week or 3 and we’ll let you know as soon as it’s ready.

WPML will work as is, but there are still some areas that we need to work on, so if you are in a hurry, then we can help you out so long.

Hi

inVogue is now WPML Ready. You can update the theme to the latest version via the WP Dashboard and you’ll find an extra WPML tab in the settings panel.

Enjoy!

Kind Regards, Gideon

I am getting the following error when installing the theme:

The www.MYDOMAIN.com page isn’t working

www.MYDOMAIN.com is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500

We would recommend PHP version 5.6 and up.

Thanks that solved it :)

Great news:)

Hello

I think to purchase. Does single product page have version without gallery and with full image size? I mean big size of images those goes one by one scrolling page down. And in the shop can I have 2 products in line instead 3 like in example?

Thank you

Hi

Thank you for your interest in inVogue.

We only have the layouts that you see in the demo, so unfortunately we do not have a single product page that you are requesting and on the shop page, you can only have 3 products in a row with the sidebar on and 4 products in a row with the sidebar off.

Please feel free to ask more questions.

Is there a log of when updates to the themes are done, tells you what is changing?

Hi

Here’s the link to our changelog https://www.herodatacenter.com/changelogs/?tid=60

I’ve used visual composer in the past and I’ve had a lot of module options. It seems like your theme uses less modules; is it possible to active the vanilla visual composer I am used to to get tools to use?

Hi

Yes all the modules that we developed where developed on-top of Visual Composer and can recreate the full demo site. Yes in theory it is free to activate all the other standard VC elements, but we will have to do it for you. Next week we will do a few big updates to the theme and we can try and bring in functionality where you can switch on all the standard VC elements to also use in the site.

Kind Regards, Gideon

Thank you Gideon. If I provide site credentials would you be able to do it for me?

Yes we can do it for you, but our developers will have to do proper testing and make sure it all works well. We will only be able to do it for you early next week, but yes we are happy to do so.

Enjoy your weekend

Kind Regards, Gideon

Hello,

I am building a site with your theme and looking to have text overlay on the home slider (which I’m using on every page). Is there a simple way to do this? I am building for a client and would like the ability to easily change it without affecting the images.

Thanks!

Hi

The built in slider is one slider only and this can be used in conjunction with the Home Template only. Adding text is easy and you can add a button under the text as well. You can add sliders to every page, but you will have to use other plugins like Revolution Slider or Hero Slider. Adding a slider is easy and can be done on the page backend. Just scroll down to the bottom of your page where it says Header Settings and paste your custom slider shortcode into the Slider Shortcode field and save.

Hope I understood you correctly.

Hi there

Great theme. I am going to buy it, it fits perfect for my project.

Is it possible to have mega menu?

Is it possible to make color-pick swatches as image not dropdown text?

Thanks in advance!

Just 2 things:

the message I sent you, about missing remove buttons on images.

Also new bug in the theme options typo “htheme” :

“NetworkError: 404 Not Found – http://us4dev.com/invogue/wp-content/themes/invogue/htheme/assets/js/worker-javascript.js" worker-...ript.js “NetworkError: 404 Not Found – http://us4dev.com/invogue/wp-content/themes/invogue/htheme/assets/js/worker-css.js" worker-css.js “NetworkError: 404 Not Found – http://us4dev.com/invogue/wp-content/themes/invogue/htheme/assets/js/worker-javascript.js"

not a typo , but still firebug .. :)

and please check the message I sent 2 days ago. Its important :)

Hi Overthroned

We received your message from the other day and have sent through a reply to the email address, would you be able to just check it hasn’t ended up in your spam folder? We’ve made an update that should resolve the issue with the buttons and I’d be happy to look into the issue you were having with titles.

With the 404 messages however, the files that the links are referring to are not part of inVogue and so do not exist there, they might have been added in by another plugin. However the ‘htheme’ path is intended :)

Please could you send through a support ticket to the link below and we can continue to communicate regarding the other issues.

Regards, Milos

I submitted a ticket but my FAQ page looks like blog posts, no accordion. Any idea?

Hi Sbbrand

I’ve been able to just send through a response to your ticket so that we can take a look at the issue, please let me know if you haven’t received it.

Congratulations on the site, we all think its looking amazing! Would you mind at all if we would use it in a showcase for the theme in future?

Regards, Milos

Hello Milos, look forward to getting it fixed. And for showcasing our site, for sure, let me know what that would look like.

Hi, We are glad that everything has been sorted out. Please feel free to contact us again in future if you have any questions, we’ll gladly assist. We’ll keep you informed when we set up a showcase of sites in the near future (Will show you first and get permission).

Enjoy the rest of your week!

Hi! Is the theme wpml compatible?

Hi

Thank you for your interest in inVogue.

WPML compatibility will only be included within the next month.

Thanks, looking forward to it!

Hi,

I purchased the theme and it looks really beautiful. The documentation provided is extremely helpful for the setup but I didn’t see answers to the following questions:

What are the recommended pixels widths for the home slider and logo?

The current slider does not stretch fully across to the left side of the screen. How do I fix this or will this be corrected once I upload smaller image?

What are the recommended pixel sizes for the headers like ‘About Us’ and ‘Lookbooks’ as well as the banner, blog images and sign up pop-up?

How can I connect the signup pop-up to my mail chimp account?

On the contact page, how can I insert the large header box like it exists on the demo here?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Thank you for the pixel dimensions, that’s a tremendous help and probably should be added to the documentation or in the settings panel.

How do I customize the dropdown order for the FAQs page?

How can I add the Titles above the 3-columns on the Contact page?

And thank you for looking into the Mail Chimp thing for me.

Best!

I’ll definitely add that to the documentation and Settings Panel:)

The FAQs can not be ordered at this stage, but we’ll add the functionality early next week and let you know as soon as it’s done. You will then simply update the theme and the ordering functionality will be visible in the backend.

Adding Titles above each column can be done by wrapping the headline copy in a H2 tag. E.g. <h2>SPEAK TO US</h2> Also have a look at this link where. http://heroplugins.com/product/invogue-theme/documentation/?link=text-block

I’ll come back to you with an answer on MailChimp early next week after my developers have had a proper look.

Enjoy your weekend!

Kind Regards, Gideon

Hi notorioussam

We’ve done the update to the theme and you can now do ordering on the FAQ page. Please just update the Hero Utility Plugin and then go to the FAQs in the backend. Open one of your items and you will now see a panel in the right hand column called Attributes. Within the Attributes panel you will see the ordering field.

Updating the plugin can be done by browsing to Plugins in your WP backend. Here you will see a list of plugins and you will see that you can update the Hero Utility Plugin.

Regarding Mailchimp. For now you can export the email addresses of the signup popup and import them into Mailchimp.

Exporting the CSV from the inVogue settings panel can be done by browsing to Appearance / inVogue Settings / ImportExport. At the bottom of this page is the Signup Export functionality. To import the list can be done the following way. http://kb.mailchimp.com/lists/growth/import-subscribers-to-a-list

We’ll do proper MailChimp integration in a future release, but can not say exactly when yet. I’ll keep you informed.

Kind Regards, Gideon

Hi, does it come with a currency switcher? do i need a plugin for that and where and how will it show?

thanks

Hi obb2012

Unfortunately inVogue does not provide currency switching by default so you will need another plugin to do that for you. The store is managed with WooCommerce so something like this might be helpful: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-currency-switcher/

Just note that this plugin gets added in through a sidebar widget or with a shortcode and inVogue does not have a sidebar on the single product page. So in order to have the widget available there you’re going to have to add it in via the shortcode on the product description. However it can be added in to the store sidebar as a widget to have it display there.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Regards, Milos

thank you. the plugin looks really distracting and not matching the theme. Hope there is a better solution to integrate a switcher. Regards

Congratulations! Good Luck :)

Thank you! :)

Hi there, I have just purchased this theme and am busy loading my products and have run into a bug.

On my main page the products are not displayed perfectly, sometimes 3 on a row, 1 on the next and then 2. When you refresh it, sometimes its 4 on a row, 3 on the next etc… so it seems to be something with the product box sizes.
