Oh cmon… Serious?
Your theme has shortcodes and revo composer content elements and maybe other elements that creat post loops.
When setting those up, i can not create posttypes, categories,etc that belong to custom post typds. So if i have custom post types like books, movies, events, members, etc, your theme is not able to show any of these.
So i ask you to ads general custom Post type support to your conplete theme

Adding a shortcode is custom work, which requires several hours of work. I can put it into our roadmap, but it takes some time.

You’re talking about “Modules”, “RevoComposer” and “Shortcodes”.
- “Modules” – doesn’t appear in WordPress terminology. It’s related to Joomla.
- “Shortcodes” – allows you to show rich blocks of content on your pages.
- “RevoComposer” – Is page builder, that is used in our themes. And it uses shortcodes to create content.
So if you want to add a new item to RevoComposer you have to create a new shortcode.

This discussion ends in nowhere. Visual Composer calls his content blocks modules or elements and most of the other do too. Riding on words does not help here.
The only thing I asked for is if your theme “shortcodes” allow post type selection. I don´t want to have a new shortcode. I don´t want to have any custom work.
You said no. And that´s ok.

I feel sad. Is it so hard work to just enable custom post type selection in your shortcodes? Many themee do so and i think its a killing feature and disadvantage for revo, that this builder is so unflexible.

I’ve backed up the theme 3 times but can only update the first and oldest option. When I click on the other two earliest option it dosent take me to the next page of ”’Warning: All of your current options will be replaced with the data from your last backup! Proceed?”
Basically im trying to restore from my latest backup but It when I click “restore option” nothing happens.

Just bought it, installed (but not painless) and now have a constant error saying
Problem with writing to these files: /home/docroot/public_html/wp-content/themes/gdn-theme/css/less/themeoptions/themeoptions-1-preview.less Please check permissions for these files.
Tried even giving 777 but still the error persists. Any ideas?

sorry for any inconvenience caused. Try change e.g. width of the site in Theme Options -> General settings, save it and take a look at the frontend. Is the width of the site changed?

Hi, I found two things that might be bugs.
1. When writing a description to the tag archive page it ads the html as text. If I’m not suposed to use a link in the tag description, could you please add this feature.
2. When listening to a podcast or radio on my iPhone and surfing on safari on the same time, your theme takes over the audio on the iPhone even if it’s no audio or video on the page. It does not matter which page I look at, it takes over the audio on the iphone. This is the case for your demo and my own installation. I have never experienced this on any webpage ever. This could be a dealbreaker for me.

Thanks but I do not need support for this, it’s a bug or theme feature issue. If the theme, just by accessing a page or post, mutes/controls other apps on your iPhone it might be a security issue.

Theme isn’t working properly. when I’m activating the demo it stop on 99% progress bar and when I checked in the console panel it’s show admin-ajax throw 500 error. broken theme showing on live website.

Can you please put a demo import up that includes everything you see on the front page…that would really help people. This would make it so much easier to understand how things like Mega Menu etc work with this theme! Otherwise love your theme! It is packed with unique features that no other news theme can come close to…I cannot rate this theme until your demo import demonstrates everything or even most that the theme has to offer…

Your demo import does not include items that need to be shown to learn…like for example a full menu to demonstrate how your mega works…the demo should include at least one item that demonstrates each unique feature…this makes it so much easier for a user to learn how things work with your documentation, ad manager, bookmark read later feature just should be demoed. This will bring many more happy customers. Right now the demo import includes a few articles, one menu item, none of your features are demonstrated in demo…hth

What is the best logo size for web and mobile?
Hello,
it depends on you and if you want to have activated retina ready – Although you can use your logo with the dimensions you need, let us take a 250×70 px logo as a sample to explain the issue. Size of this logo is the just mentioned 250×70 px if it has not to be retina ready. If you prepare a retina ready logo, you should create it with double width and height, i. e. 500×140 px. Remember that if the „Retina Ready“ option is set on, your logo will be displayed in its half size on non retina displays, so it won’t affect the actually displayed size. Make sure you have set the option off if you use a standard sized logo (249×69 px), otherwise it couses that the logo will be displayed too small on both of display types.
