are you able to export html files and all of the files that go with the design? kinda like how webrock page builder allows you to: https://codecanyon.net/item/webrock-page-builder-framework-for-html5/7573470? If so.. i would definitely purchase this.

There isn’t any need for this in our builder as all the pages are connected to the central CSS, JS and IMG folders. This means that there are no proprietary stylesheets per page and no inline styles or junk code that the pages need to rely on. Once you’ve built your page you can simply drop it into the root directory of the site.

Thanks for pointing this out – that block is not added to the builder. For now you can grab the <section> from the home-landing-service-4.html page and drop it into your page once you’ve output from Variant.

Yes we have seen this demo. But what we would like is that in desktop mode the navigation is normal with dropdowns, whereas in mobile mode we have the navigation slide in “offcanvas” style. Is this possible?

Ah I see,
In this case, I’d add that slideout navigation to the page but add the class ‘visible-xs’ to it, so it only shows on mobile. On your normal bar with dropdowns (for desktop) add the class ‘hidden-xs’ so that it hides on mobile.

2. Is it possible to replicate the social media icons at the top of the site, identical to that shown at the bottom, even if via a workaround hardwiring into page layouts ?

Hi, I’m trying to pull the Pillar theme into a workflow more like my current one – using the LESS files and Bower/Gulp to compile everything down.
I’m surprised there isn’t a list of the different JS components or icon libraries listed for reference.
Some I’ve found, smooth-scroll, bootstrap etc but ones like parallax.js has no attribution headers. Fairly sure there should be at least some acknowledge to the original creators but they seem to be removed?
PS Tried to create a ticket but that came back with “unknown error”.

The parallax is developed in-house by us (Medium Rare) and therefore doesn’t require attribution.

Hi, having an issue with the parallax backgrounds. It works, but in Firefox (mac+windows) the image doesn’t always fill the full height of the container, so you end up seeing a bit of the plain overlay background-color at the top.

That is a “notification” popup which can contain any content and can appear automatically or can be triggered by a click elsewhere on the page.

Hi there, there were no changes – Themeforest counts updating the item thumbnail as an item update.

Background youtube video cover doesn’t work in ipad ios. 10.1.1. The video appears with the youtube branding and headers and completely breaks the site aesthetics. Kindly look into it.

Videos will not autoplay on iPads – this is a device restriction, hence we use the background-image-holder as a fallback to show an image background instead of a video.

Since this is not a built-in variant feature, I’d suggest putting some [placeholder] text in the areas you wish to target with ads. This will make it easier to find and insert your adsense code into the HTML generated by Variant. You will still need to get the output and insert your adsense code manually.

my html output from variant is not the same as the design i have been working on in variant. the output is just 22 lines of code with only js and css libraries. none of my text or images are outputted in the code. what could be wrong?

Hi. Variant export isn’t work with safari 10 (el cap). Chrome and others do this allright. Have any idea how to fix?

Safari can not export files (this is covered in the documentation), but you should still be able to get your HTML code for the pages you’ve created. We recommend using either Chrome or Firefox for Variant.
