When i Click on a picture full width:
- “ESC” can help to go back to the filmstrip ( the white “close button” is hidden when you have a bright picture )
- still waiting for thumbnails view on film strip ( ESC )
Do you plan to do this feature or not at all ? Because i’m waiting for this feature since the beginning now ( 2 months ) and I can’t use the theme without it.

Photo pro industry needs to go fast on portfolios websites options with views by gallery.
That’s why there are pro templates like here:
https://www.photofolio.io/examples http://www.chadkphoto.com/PORTFOLIO/2/thumbsThe standard now is 2 view options by gallery and it’s very important. You did it well with this NAPOLI and there are plenty of beautiful options in the different galeries.
But for film strip, there is no thumbnails option, and if i want to use it with more than 20 pictures, it would be great to have an overview of all the 20 pictures!

I am also asking here as I have an open ticket. I am not concerned any more with the speed of my website specifically. The Napoli theme has an image preloader (A grey circle) that blinks while your whole page loads. When the whole page is loaded only then does it load. I do not want this. Is it possible to not have this and load parts of the page as they appear. First image and then the second image etc. Notice I am not asking about servers etc, image sizes. Not at all. All I want is a clear answer. Is it possible for your theme to bypass the preloader and load in parts? Thanks Sam

Evey single site with the theme Napoli does not lazy load. It gets the blinking cirlce with a WHITE PAGE for many seconds 7 or more seconds. That is a big problem as websites need to load something in 1 or 2 seconds. In some portfolio items nothing happens for 15 seconds. Please look into this item. I have an open ticket. As I looked into other users, it appears to be happening in multiple sites which points to a theme issue. As I looked at other users theme it is not only my problem. Please investigate and inform us. I am bit confused, as here on themeforest I cannot remove any comments without getting approval, and I never remove any comments of our customers. I am also confused about not answering to you on ticksy, as I have replied my last message 23 hours, and You answered me about 13 hours ago because a lot of feature requests are being implemented at this and You will not believe but I was exactly on your ticket right now.
In my ticket, I told that actually the lazyload is activated on theme, and we need to investigate what’s happened on your end, on which you said thank you, we also stated that there is small issue with loading images but it will be fixed by tomorrow, as is one of top priorities.
Also, regarding to loading time, I suggested to you to change your hosting provider as yours is providing a slow load site. And I believe is quite incorect to say that any NAPOLI site is loading slow, I can ask our Customers to send you links where you can see that they a fast loading time due to our quality theme and their hosting provider. You should understand that if you’re planning to load 20-30 images which have more than 1 MB which is about 20-30 MB and with a bad Internet Connection or with Week Server provider, you will never great performance.
I feel all this comments, are quite unfair for us which because we’re doing our best to please all the customers.

Hello, there was a comment here, maybe it accidentaly got removed. The thing is I added some example sites that are using the theme that have slow load time also. Is your recommendation to fix something in hosting? I will look into that then. Its just that under the same hosting my other themes loaded much faster. Its just that a photography theme should load some images in the first second and slowly load the next images as you scroll. Whill this be fixed in the new version tomorrow perhaps. Or will there always be the white blinking circle. Thanks and I apologize for any confusion
PS My image pages are 20-30 images at 50k each so total of 1-2 MB for entire page.
Do you recommend CDN perhaps to speed up? Thanks

The images have been exported for web compression within photoshop. any more and they would degrade. as a photographer i want to showcase them as best i can. if you have any suggestions i am up for them. the minify plugins can shave some time off, i have tried it on the main page., but at such a slow speed it would be irrelevant. is there a way to break the pages and load part of the posts with read more or something like that? thanks

There appears to be an issue where you reduce the number of blog posts from 100 to 10 and the theme does not take the change, thus causing the slow load time on the blog posts page. I also opened a tkt. Is this something hard-coded in the theme? thanks

I see on your page it’s loading only 20 posts : http://timenio.info/category/photography-projects/yup, it took a while for the changes to take effect. i think its due to the caching plugin running on the site. i also replied to the ticket. all looks good now., thanks

We have created several gallery types for Napoli, just like you see in the demo.
I think there was misunderstanding. The answer is yes for the first 3 questions: we have sidebar integrated and masonry style for albums.

You can easily do this with our gallery ( http://foxthemes.com/web/wp/napoli.1.5.0/full-width-gallery/ ), you just need to setup the height of the images, and everything will show exactly like here:
Thank you but that is not what I asked. As a wedding photographer you either want: 1 horizontal image on its own line 2 horizontals on their own line 1 horizontal image next to a vertical on their own line What you are showing me is a mosaic of images which is a bit chaotic. I am asking about specific placement of images on each line, never more than 2 images per line. Its shown exactly on the blog post as I attached as an example eariler. Usually we do this in photoshop but some templates do this with their own tool , a drag and drop into a gallery with 1-2 images per line. I guess the control would be needed on each line. Where one decides how many images. Kind of like visual composer but for image placements.
Here is an example with with our gallery where we have set up the height 350 px:

Is there a way to to create photo blog posts where we drag and drop photos into the post and you get 2 horisontals next to each other, or a horizontal and a vertical on the same row etc as a blog post of images. Now I have only 1 wide image per row and do my collages in photoshop, not sure if there is such a feature for photo posts. Thanks
