I have installed Madang Theme, how can I install demo data so that making the site like what I saw on themeforest?
I tried to use wordpress importer and upload the file madang.wordpress.2017-02-08.xml. but it shows “504 gateway time-out” after a while.
my upload_max_filesize has set to 32MB
Its not only about this parameter. Maximum time that a script is allowed to be executed also matters. Please modify your htaccess with these parameters.
php_value post_max_size 16M

Hi, I have just installed the updated version of the theme. Unfortunately, some of the block items display as code and not as intended content. For example on Consultation page I see the following: madang_counters title1=”Users trusted” count1=”2,398″ title2=”consultations received” count2=”3,108″ title3=”SUCCESS STORIES” count3=”1,982″ ] . Could you please advise?

The problem seems to come from your child theme, I do not see where.

Actually you have incorrectly installed theme… you have activated child theme when should be activated main theme. After activating your main theme you should import demo data.
Currently I have enabled main theme and some data appeared, but most data is missing as you have imported data when theme was not active

I did. But i did also find it after I sent this email. The demo content file is not in my downloads. I’ll have many more questions as well as that documentation is not very clear either. What is the best way to do that? Continue posting here?
Off the top of my head, is there a better tutorial on how to set up a recipe, use and connect nutrition and create a full menu page? Or can you send me the short code from the demo page ans I can play with it from there?

Featured Products from Home Page is based on gallery custom post type. You can use different shortcode, for example, SAMPLE MENU from this page and provide links to it: http://madang.kenzap.com/program-single/

Yes exactly. If you modified themes core files they will be deleted as well. In this case please make a backup.

There is a .XML file type in your purchase folder. Please refer to installation guide on how to upload demo content using Buil-in Wordpress demo content importer directly from admin page.

Thank you for purchasing our theme. Are you sure you actually installing madang.zip and not madang-child.zip. Check it in appearance > themes which theme is activated.
