2. It will display the sticky posts as highest priority, then the normal posts
3. You can config the Header Slider in Header Settings. This plugin have a category filter that you can apply your setting

When I try to click on the Pinterest for sharing, my browser notifies that “This page is trying to load scripts from unauthenticated sources”. Maybe Chrome detects “insecure content”.

There is a gloria.pot file in the language folder of the theme, you should use Poedit software to open and then translate which texts you want, then rename the file to YOUR_LANGUAGE_NAME.pot and save them back to the language folder.
Then go to settings -> general -> Site language -> Select your language and save change

Okay, I did get it to work by modifying the child theme. But I see that you didn’t add support for mobile sub-menus. The sub-menu doesn’t come out in mobile – was this intentional?
