I have two questions. 1) does the portfolio section consist of normal wordpress posts? or a custom post type? We use a plugin to link products with wordpress post so that customers can see the design, and buy items right below. I dont know if it is possible on this theme 2) is it possible to swap the red highlight with some other color with a simple css?

Hi GT3themes, is it possible to link a portfolio post to a blog post? If it is doable, it should suffice our needs.
What do you mean to link portfolio post to a blog one?
by that, i mean if user clicks on a portfolio in the grid, it directs user to a specific blog post instead of its portfolio post detail. I guess it might need some customization?
You can use the custom link to each portfolio. For example you create portfolio grid and link it’s items to external or internal custom links. You can add the link manually.
Great. final question. for the portfolio category, does it support nesting? if so, how is it gonna display the taxonomy in the theme? I dont see it from the demo, and they look like more like tags rather than category taxonomy??
Hello! We use the standard categories. Unfortunately, there isn’t category taxonomy.
Sorry for the questions. I just notice one more thing. The home page (slider + shop items) design does not include any other product information like price, category and etc. is it possible to add those information on but still keep the grid masonry layout?
That’s the specific of this theme design. It can be integrated as customization.

Hello! The plugin isn’t integrated with the theme. The Canvas theme is responsive. We will need to add custom styles to the theme to make the plugin compatible with the design.

Unfortunately, the theme doesn’t have the feature you want to use.
The image we are talking about isn’t a header one. This is breadcrumbs area. You can hide it in Canvas theme settings=> View Options=> Breadcrumb area
That is not the solution.. I need to put different background images in the header of each post. It is understood? and this issue can not … I need a solution for the customer.
I do understand that you need a custom solution, but theme isn’t integrated with the plugin. I don’t believe we will support it, because you are the first customer who requested this functionality. I forwarded the request to the theme dev and would prefer to wait for either of them to confirm the above.

It requires custom changes. The theme doesn’t support RTL version.

Hello! Please note that it should import all the images that are available on the demo page. Sometimes because of the server settings the scripts times out. We use the same wordpress import tool but in more convenient way. Anyway, please provide your wp-admin details and we will take a look. Thanks
