By default people can’t subcribe to pay for duration e.g monthly or yearly.you need to use a membership plugin for this feature. Paypal, Stripe, 2CheckOut, or even Offline course payment are available.
Other questions Reply: 1: yes 2: if you add link into course for download then student can download the file only after they enroll
So, to understand well: your theme allows listing and management of the courses and can create pricing plan or payment for a single course, but it doesn’t process payments.
Is that right?
I will need to buy another plugin to manage payments and access to the course?
no , you can process payments with academic like woocommerce. You only need another plugin if you need membership features.(such as monthly payment)

Hi Team, I have installed the theme version1.2. I got an update on the theme to 1.3 after update all the content flushed and in customize section it directs to “Academic Pro” were in I bought “Academic-Education” further if opted for pro it lands on themepalace.com with version 2.2.

I have a license, but I deleted the project and started from scratch; I downloaded the file again, but realized that some plugins did not come, especially learpress and Demo Content install does not look like tools; besides this I am with the 1.3. there have a theme in wp.org which name is academic too. and my theme name is also academic. the free theme author update his theme version on sep 26 which is version 1.3 and my theme version was 1.2.+ and that the reason all buyers are notify on there admin dashboard for update the theme. hopefully it’s clear to you ☺

Hi, please use meta_key for WP_query than you can order events by date . see https://codex.wordpress.org/Class_Reference/WP_Query#Order_.26_Orderby_Parameters “meta_value”

if there are 2 elements with some sub elements under a menu title, if you move your mouse lower on the sub menu it makes the 2nd element visible. You cant click the last sub elements in the first sub menu.. In the demo Academic, hover Pages > Blog and then try to click Post Format: Quote. You wont be able to click it. How can we solve this?

Hi, we use learnpress in theme which is fully functional for seeling course online.learnpress also have a extension for creating offline course.that’s mean LearnPress Offline Payment help you to manually create order for offline payment instead of paying via any payment gateways to sell course. so this theme is ready sell offline coursess. and this theme is not ready yet for woocommerce.
